Determine and take action on the steps to attain continuous improvement to inspection standard work and inspection methods

Responsible for reviewing and completing quality validations and/or documentation

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Must have a practical understanding and proficiency in engineering drawing interpretation to include GD&T requirements
Must possess strong computer skills, with experience in Word, Excel, and other windows based software.
Must be able to accurately and efficiently generate instructions, reports, etc.
Strong reading, writing, problem solving, and analytical skills
The ability to teach and train others in a coach or mentor role as needed
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of customer and company information

Work Conditions: While performing the duties of this position, the employee will work in a manufacturing environment. The employee works near moving mechanical parts and in precarious places. This position is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. This employee may be required to wear a supplied air hood or respirator. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

 

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls; the employee is required reach with hands and arms and may occasionally sit. Position Details:

Title: Field Technician (Field Technician Trainee during probational period)
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Shift: M-F, typically 8a-5p (flexible based on service calls)
• An estimated 10-15 hours of OT can be expected per pay period.
Compensation: $37.50-38.90 hourly + Commission is available for products sales during service calls.

Position Description: The purpose of the Field Technician role is to service, inspect, and repair boilers for Miura customers. You will act as a customer service technician for the company representatives and customers for the Maintenance Department which will include scheduling boiler start-ups and inspections, maintenance and management of parts inventory, and providing excellent customer service to build customer trust. Additional duties include performing and reporting the results of water analysis at customer sites, troubleshooting and repairing boiler room equipment, creating proposals for customer site improvements, managing installation projects of boiler and water treatment equipment, and using all water management/maintenance/inspection reports. The company provides a company vehicle, laptop, cell phone, credit card, and required equipment/tools. The company provides certain clothing allowances and items (uniforms, fire-resistant shirts, etc).

Shift: Mon-Friday 1st shift, a standard work schedule will be set, although some jobs may require an earlier/later start or night scheduled work

Position Description:
