Company is still the undisputed king of their industry, and they have come off multiple consecutive years of revenue growth, and their Field Service Engineers tend to stick around for decades. They exceeded their budget on their vast product lines by about 250% last year and are growing. They continue to expand and have a bunch to install along with the subsequent maintenance contracts and repairs to be serviced.

Position Details:
Locations / Openings / Territory: Home-based opening anywhere in the greater La Crosse, WI or Rochester, MI areas. Must be within 30 minutes of La Crosse, WI. Territory includes primary state and typically 1-2 surrounding states.


Travel: There is a decent amount of travel associated with this job, as you will regularly be visiting and working at Customer sites in the region (primarily within several hours of your home base location), but you will be responsible for building your own travel / service schedule. The work week is Monday through Friday normal hours with weekends off. You can expect to be gone overnight during the work week (the exception being when you are servicing customers near your home.
Compensation: Target base salary ~$70K - $75K for candidates with very minimal to no field service experience to ~$75K - $90K for experienced/senior field service candidates + a variable compensation package of $16K+ annually, paid out quarterly. You will also receive a company car with unlimited personal mileage.

Requirements: The best candidates for this position will industry or field service experienced candidates. Transitioning active duty or military veteran technicians with outstanding troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair skills with electronic, electrical and / or mechanical systems are also a fit, such as ETs/ATs/FCs with mechanical ability. You must demonstrate very professional, polished customer service skills (technical problem solver, empathetic listening skills, outgoing personality, etc.), always have a positive outlook and demonstrate a keen ability for learning new technologies. Other desired skills include:
• Ability to use all types of hand tools and digital test equipment
• Knowledge of mechanics, electronics, distribution systems and conveyor systems
• Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and the ability to read blueprints and schematics

Looking for 3 night shift maintenance technicians. This is a full-time position. The plant manager is a USMC veteran and has multiple Navy veterans working at the plant as well. A great opportunity to work at military-friendly plant with competitive pay!

PAY: $32.95 per hour based on experience + regular OT at time and a half + Full benefits

General Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs facility/utility systems such as mechanical, electrical, building systems, water heater/boiler, steam, chilling system, electric power, gas, or compressed air required for operations.
• Executes PMs and repairs to Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, refrigeration, instrumentation, elevator maintenance, painting, plumbing, carpentry, grounds keeping and mechanical repairs - pumps, motors systems.
• Repairs, replaces and/or rebuilds plumbing fixtures and connections.
• May be required to perform tests, repair and replacement of fire alarm, fire sprinkler, smoke detector, emergency and exit sign lighting system and report any malfunctions to supervisor.
• Repairs, replaces and/or rebuilds plumbing fixtures and connections.
• Cleans and replaces traps, drains, vents and drain lines, faucets, and toilets, basic wall board repairs, including wall board installation.

Qualifications:

Position Description
As a Service Technician, you will deliver world-class technical customer service and support. You will work directly within the Technical Service Group and manage multiple customers and projects. Service Technicians frequently correspond with customers; maintain oversight on equipment, service machinery, and travel to customer facilities. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention, and increases profitability. Responsibilities will include:
• Support company equipment and systems at customer production facilities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical errors with equipment and determine proper solutions.
• Remotely monitor the effectiveness and performance of equipment via remote access software and direct communication with customers.
• Perform modifications, upgrades, and routine maintenance to existing equipment in order to meet customer needs and requirements.
• Perform troubleshooting of mechanical, controls, and instruments at fabrication shop or at customer site locations.
• Provide training to the customer staff on equipment operation.
• Produce timely, accurate and detailed service reports.
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations and modifications as required.
• Schedule and plan service calls and customer visits.

Position Requirements
• Experience as a field service technician
• Great customer service skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules to include extended hours and weekends.
• Ability to effectively organize, schedule, and carry out work assignments with minimal supervision.
• Learn to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, diagrams.
• Any experience in installation, industrial maintenance, and troubleshooting of processing systems preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical and process systems used in the brewing, food, & beverage production industry preferred.
• Basic understanding of control systems and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), especially Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley systems preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical process equipment such as pumps, valves, meters, and other components preferred.

Position Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure availability and function of plant machinery and auxiliary equipment by completing preventive maintenance and responding to troubleshooting and/or repair needs in a timely manner. Responsibilities will include:

Position Requirements
• Basic understanding of mechanical assemblies (conveyors, sprockets, belts, pulleys, gearboxes, centrifugal pumps, vacuum pumps).
• Basic knowledge of electrical components (480V/220V, fuses, relays, contactors, motors).
• Ability to use a multimeter.
