Position Description: As a Maintenance Technician, you will work with the engineering team to implement new ideas and equipment installations while communicating between other departments and shifts daily. Troubleshoot robots and controllers for multiple types of ABB robots. Review robot code and movements. Preparing backups and making changes in the program. Modify positions and update calibrations. Component repair and/or changing.
Upload, download, and make changes to multiple vision systems including Cognex, Sherlock, Keyence, ABB and Sick.
Maintain the systems and able to adjust programs as needed on laser engraving systems such as Keyence and Mecco Lasers.

• Ensure compliance with applicable sections of the ASME Code, National Board Inspection Code and Jurisdictional requirements for fabrication and Repair and Alteration activities and authorized inspection services.
• Certify products based on ASME Code requirements or submits recommendations for corrective action to ensure compliance with Code and Jurisdictional requirements.

Prior to becoming an Authorized Inspector, you will need to complete a training period that includes attending a 3-week long American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)/National Board training/certification commissions school in Columbus, OH (all expenses paid).

Requirements:
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and equivalent (Military) work experience, or a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering. You should also have 3-5 years of mechanical experience in the boiler and pressure vessel industry (power plant, either Nuke or conventional), such as design fabrication, operation, repair and alteration, inspection, and nondestructive examination, or quality control systems.
