Position Description: Mobile Diesel Technician
The position of Mobile Diesel Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, service, repair and maintenance of Company products in a safe and efficient manner in a Company Service Center, customer job site or via phone

Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
• High school diploma of equivalent required. Two-year technical training or equivalent preferred.
• Three to five years of diesel experience and/or formal training or combination of education and training

Position Description: Class A Driver (Flatbed)
The position of CDL (A/B) driver /Field Operator is responsible for supporting the delivery, installation and operation of Company equipment on Company Service Center sites and/or customer job sites. The Field Operator will maintain a clean and orderly work site environment to enable safe and efficient movement of workers and motorized equipment throughout the site.

Responsibilities:
• Identify all items to be delivered or picked up with customer to ensure completeness and accuracy. Perform visual inspection of equipment being picked up and note any damage. Obtain customer’s signature on appropriate paperwork.
• Utilize motorized equipment handling machinery to safely load equipment on and off trucks and trailers.
• Secure all items loaded on the truck for safe over-the-road travel in accordance with Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA), Federal Department of Transportation and local Department of Transportation guidelines.
• Assist in securing load utilizing straps and chains.
• Ensure yard and loading areas are clear of debris and trash; accessories and equipment are organized and easy to access.
• Follow all safety processes and procedures and maintain a ‘Safety First’ approach when completing daily work tasks. Complete a Job Safety Assessment before beginning any job on a customer site. Ensure compliance with all Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
• Travel locally to mobilize/demobilize small pump systems on customer job sites. Ensures pipeline, pump equipment and accessories are installed according to specification.
• Operate fusion machine to build HDPE (high-density polyethylene) pipelines on customer site to connect the pumping system. Ensure pumping system and pipeline meet operational requirements. Understand and react to how weather conditions effect HDPE fusion.
• Work independently or as part of a crew to install and dismantle pumping systems and pipelines on customer job sites.
• Review preliminary contracts to ensure all materials needed are identified and available. Update the sales staff should any materials change, or the initial job set up changes.
• Initiate site introductions with customer and Outside Sales personnel. Establish customer expectations and clarify customer support.
• Establish communication with equipment operators.
• Prepare electronic work orders.
• Understand priming systems, options, remote systems, and A-91 panels
• Apply proper measurements (center-to-center or face-to-face) to HDPE pipe. Calculate angles to ensure proper installation.
• Perform vacuum checks on installed pumping systems.
• Perform proper sequencing to break down pump systems and pipelines to avoid spills and/or contamination to surrounding work area. Properly flush systems.
• Safely utilize chain saws and other hand tools to properly cut and break down pipelines. Understand how and where to cut pipe to avoid spills, damage, and excessive scrapping.
• Thoroughly inspect and evaluate condition of pipe, hose, and fittings upon dismantling. Notify supervisor or site supervisor if any equipment is damaged.
• Prepare Bill of Ladings (BOLs) to load out equipment from job site. Coordinate with Company Service Center Manager to arrange proper timing of truck arrivals to ensure material handling equipment and/or personnel are available.

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

As a Field Service Technician for the company, your primary mission will be to provide maintenance services at customer establishments, following manufacturer’s instructions and utilizing knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic equipment. You will rely on your technical expertise to perform scheduled maintenance on a wide-array of high technical medical devices and machines. You can expect to become the "jacks of all trades", so you must have strong troubleshooting, maintenance and repair skills with electronic, electrical and / or mechanical systems (including basic plumbing, pneumatics, etc.). You should have good computer aptitude as well. You must have a valid driver’s license and a good credit record.

Additional requirements:
• You’ll also perform start-up and troubleshooting procedures of steam sterilization equipment in accordance with both manufacturer and customer specifications to ensure quality and performance requirements are met.
• Military avionics or electro-mechanical experience with be highly considered.
• Your people skills and customer–oriented focus will be crucial in this role because you will be instructing customer personnel in the operation and proper use of the equipment.
• Additionally, your ability to juggle priorities and be flexible with your time will be critical as you respond to emergency repair requests.

Position Details:
• Location: San Antonio, TX region. Dispatched from home position.
• Travel Requirements: Some overnights as needed but generally local. Expect training to be provided in the first six months involving domestic travel (NY, NJ, TX). Company vehicle provided.

Keys to Successful Interview:
Demonstrate your knowledge of a complex system and troubleshooting experiences (focus on mechanical/electronic). Give examples of equipment you specialized at in service. Be able to diagram it, explain it, and give examples of times when it broke down, how you troubleshot it, and how you fixed it. They want to understand YOUR thought process. How do you see things, analyze them, and come up with the solution. You should be able to express how you understand the fundamentals of your troubleshooting actions vs. just replacing a part. Relate by showing examples of what you have worked on and how you can easily catch on and grasp these basic concepts. Discuss what kinds of military schools you attended and how exactly they relate to these machines you should already have the basics down--you just need to help them understand how your experience relates to “whole system” troubleshooting.

Utilize specific examples that demonstrate your customer service experience. Everyone including people in the military have a customer. You must be able to work with a cool head on your shoulder and be able to interact with clients. Explain how you communicate with your customer in good and bad situations. They want to hire someone who isn’t timid and can communicate with confidence to clients. The position will involve autonomy so talk about your ability to operate independently and on a team. They are looking for someone that is a self-starter, mature, and with a professional polish that can work independently and also on a team. Be prepared to demonstrate these intangible qualities based off your work performance and through your interpersonal demeanor.

Welder/ Fabricator

Responsibilities:
• Fabricate equipment and parts by cutting, burning, welding, and brazing various materials including steel, stainless steel, Monel, bronze, and brass
• Clean and prepare surfaces to be welded
• Perform unassisted layout, set-up and joining of complex parts
• Repair worn or defective surfaces for machine shop
• Work to close tolerances and interpret instructions, procedures and engineering drawings/specifications
• Meet all job-specific NDT requirements
• Create job-specific tooling when needed
• Maintain machinery, good housekeeping and safety standards
• Have and maintain a positive attitude

Qualifications:
• Requires 5+ years of experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Perform resistance welding, MIG welding, TIG Welding, brazing and cutting operations in accordance with detailed Company drawings, Company weld procedures, specifications, and written instructions to meet customer requirements.
• Experience welding lighter gauge sheet metal.

Senior Machinist

Responsibilities:
• Set up and Machine castings and raw stock on CNC Lathes and/or CNC Mills in a timely manner
• Work to close tolerances and interpret instructions, procedures, and engineering drawings/specifications; have good shop math skills
• Create custom, job-specific tooling, when needed
• Use Gibbs programming packages
• Maintain accuracy of all machining operations; have QC staff inspect parts during machining process
• Maintain machinery, good housekeeping, and safety standards
• Assist and train junior machinists, as needed
• Have and maintain a positive attitude

Qualifications:
• Requires 5+ years of experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Perform unassisted machine set-up and machining operations in accordance with detail drawings, company specifications/procedures, and verbal instruction.
• Work with steel, stainless steel, iron, bronze, and Monel castings as well as raw stock.
• Adaptable and ability to think quickly on your feet.
• Experience with Casting a plus
