Position Details:
• Title: Technical Sales Rep/Account Manager
• Location: Northern New Jersey
• Travel/Schedule: Your territory runs from Princeton northward through the rest of the state; you can live anywhere within the territory. Overnight travel is a rarity
• Compensation: Target base salary ~$75K - $90K (depending on level of technical and/or sales experience) with stepped commission plan (target Year One commission at plan ~20%).
o Bonuses/Additional Compensation: You also are provided a company vehicle, cell phone, etc. With 20% bonus at plan, a realistic Year One total W2 is ~$90K - $105K+.

Position Description:
As a Technical Sales Rep / Account Manager, you will be responsible for revenue and profit growth of programs and services in targeted industrial accounts within your assigned region (the northern half of New Jersey). Industries served include manufacturing, Food / Beverage, Pharmaceutical and personal care production facilities. With a consultative sales approach, you’ll build relationships with existing customers by understanding their key business drivers and executing system assurance programs. With strong account leadership, you’ll also convert strategic competitive accounts and sell new technologies to current customers. This role requires also hands-on service, chemical analysis and basic system & equipment troubleshooting and repair as required, so a strong technical aptitude is required. Some specific responsibilities include:
• Generate and execute sales plans in existing customer base and in assigned competitively-held accounts, to meet profit increase goals. Target % sales time will be approximately 20%
• Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executives
• Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required
• Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
• Actively sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with Nalco Water

Candidates should have familiarity with or basic knowledge of industrial water treatment systems. A 4-yr BA/BS degree is required, ideally in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, etc) or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc). Familiarity with (or ability to learn) complex feed systems (pumps, strainers, filters, etc) is necessary for success. This is a customer-facing role, so a positive, outgoing, service-oriented demeanor is also a must.

Title: Associate Field Service Engineer
Location: Long Island, NY
Shift: Primarily M-F. Some weekends or evening hours for emergency support coverage.

Position Description:
The AFSE development path is designed to allow the candidate to transit through each of the operations divisions to allow the individual to gain knowledge and experience and as an additional resource for these divisions to meet its operational mission. The rotation assignment will not have a specified time period but is dependent upon individual development and operational needs. • Basic electronics skills, computer usage and debugging skills, knowledge of networks and networking techniques, knowledge of mechanics and mechanical systems, and knowledge of plumbing and associated hardware.
• Two to three years’ experience in a leadership role; Manufacturing experience preferred
• An associate’s degree in electronics, biomedical engineering, or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of electronics and electro-mechanical technology, and test equipment used for verification, checkout and calibration of electronic equipment preferred
• Knowledge of micro-computers/PC based systems preferred
