This is a great opportunity for electrically/mechanically inclined and team-oriented candidates with interest in working in a manufacturing setting. Essential skills include:
Electrical: Use Multimeter to troubleshoot motors, wiring and electrical problems. Replace industrial electrical components such as switches, contactors, fuses, motors,
Hydraulics and Pneumatics: Understand system components such as solenoids, valves, pumps, regulators, etc. and be able to troubleshoot these types of systems
Mechanical: Troubleshoot and repair industrial mechanical conveyors, washers, mixers, ovens,
Assemble, install and program mechanical, electro-mechanical and automated machinery and systems such as production machinery / tools, storage racks, and
Set up and operate machine tool equipment in the maintenance area as well as basic operation of most production equipment such as drill presses, vertical mills, band saws, cut off saws, lathes, gas, arc, mig, and tig welding equipment as may be necessary to fabricate, repair and/or duplicate parts required to maintain and repair equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and equipment manuals
Neatly and accurately record, interpret and apply required data
Comply with all standard OSHA and State safety regulations and policies including but not limited to LOTO (lock-out tag-out) for all types of equipment, proper handling of solvents and chemicals according to SDS sheets, vision, hearing and respiratory protection, and proper lifting techniques as may be required within the scope of the job at
Clean equipment, tools, etc. and surrounding area between
Work Schedule: Compressed 12-hour shifts – 6pm to 6am – Thurs, Fri., Sat. and every other Weds.
Salary/Benefits: Candidates for this role will make over $80,000 in first year compensation with significant perks and guaranteed annual wage raises. In addition, you will receive built in overtime, differential for off shifts and a bonus that amounts to 3.5% of your total annual income.
