Description
Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Bridgeton NJ
Shifts: Must be flexible for rotating swing shift work: Swing = covers all shifts on a rotating basis
1st = 8a-4p |2nd = 4p-12a | 3rd = 12a-8a
You will train on the first shift for about 3 months then either put on a swing, 2nd or 3rd shift.
Their days worked will be like this: 7on 1off; 7on 2off; 7on 4 off.
Compensation: $36.01 + OT + Shift Differential ($1.00 for 2nd / $1.50 for 3rd)

Position Description: Perform corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance on production-related equipment.
• Establish and maintain a safe environment with good housekeeping that ensures constant awareness and always strives for zero accidents.
• We are seeking a candidate who has the mechanical and electrical aptitude and experience of working directly with production equipment i.e., conveyors, sprays, ovens, and printers.
• Understands the importance of proper and timely maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Set up adjust maintain and operate various support equipment. The tech has primary responsibility for the production and quality of assigned equipment.
• Able to analyze all types of mechanical, electrical, or operational issues.
• Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production.
• Constant checking of machines and vigilance of daily operation.
• Analyze by plant/item/shop as needed to focus improvement efforts.
• Communicate the quality vision and expectations.
Requirements:
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude and good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Must have 480v industrial electrical experience.
