Position Description:
This role will support construction activities of the project in the execution phase. The ideal candidate will have experience in renewables, combined-cycle power plant construction, or other large scale industrial projects. The Mechanical Field Engineer role is primarily responsible for supporting construction activities by planning, organizing and implementing the project controls system, assist with subcontracts and material management, and support purchasing and scheduling.

• Thorough understanding of the scope of work, contract, plans and specifications. Ability to identify discrepancies and obtain resolution.
• Support technical interface between the site, the Project Engineering Manager, and the Engineer of Record.
• Support the General Superintendent and Discipline Superintendent with work planning and problem resolution.
• Monitor field changes and provide redline drawings of the as-built conditions.
• Interface with subcontractors as assigned by the General Superintendent. Track schedule progress and provide quantitative tracking of work progress weekly.
• Expedite testing reports. Review the test reports for specification compliance and provide to Quality Control.
• Track and record Lessons Learned.
• Provide documentation for change order requests.
• Inspect delivered materials with QA/QC site representative to ensure project requirements are met.
Requirements:
• 2-3 years current power plant or industrial construction experience preferred
• Ability to travel and relocate to small and large cities as business requires
• Field Engineering experience desired.
• Highly motivated with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft programs

Position Descriptions: Field Service Technician
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for leading the start-up, commissioning, emergency service and regularly scheduled preventative maintenance service of equipment at customer locations. This is a very key front-line service role at the company, as you will be interacting with and directly serving customer equipment needs. You will travel to customer locations and provide the best customer equipment troubleshooting, repair, and training in operation and maintenance in the business. Requirements: Candidates must be excellent technicians with a strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical aptitude with the ability to work on and troubleshoot maintenance equipment. Candidates will be self-starters and will be comfortable working with people while troubleshooting / problem-solving or while training customers how to use equipment. Excellent communication and customer service skills are of utmost importance. You must be able to read mechanical blueprints and electrical
schematics. While not required, it is preferred you have some experience with PLC logic development and troubleshooting; Company offers a PLC training program if you are not well-versed here.
