Job Description

Industrial HVAC / Climate Control Service Technician: Travel to customer sites in your assigned territory to safely troubleshoot, repair and maintain commercial and industrial dehumidification equipment. Position requires experience operating, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration plants, air conditioning systems, utility and auxiliary equipment; CFC Certification (or ability to obtain certification within 90 days); and experience with Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration systems and components (required)

Job Description

Position Description: Assembler

Under minimal supervision (reports directly to Production Supervisor/Team Leader), the Assembler is responsible for assembling component parts for rail signaling and communications equipment. Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Connecting wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
Make electrical wire terminations - cut wire to specified lengths and routes, combs, twists, wraps, ties, and attaches wire to terminal points.
Disassembles, modifies, reworks, refurbishes, reassembles as the need arises.
Performs incoming, raw material, and final manufacturing inspection and audits of quality control programs
Working from production blueprints, wiring diagrams, parts lists, wire lists, sketches, bills of materials, and verbal instructions to produce electrical or Electro-Mechanical sub-assemblies

Position Details

Location: Louisville, KY

Shift: 7am – 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, some overtime would be available (could come in as early as 6am or stay as late as 5pm or occasionally on Saturdays.

Salary and Benefits: First Year Compensation $35k – 40k, depending on how much OT you want to work! Starting rate is $14.05/hr, but the contract increases to $14.65/hr on June 1. After 9 months, you will bump to $15.04/hr, then 9 months after that to $15.86/hr, and then 9 months after that to $16.94/hr, and so on. Use hand and power shop tools. Certification of some tools and equipment may be required, such as crane and forklift operations.
Interact with and display professional conduct with customers and coworkers
Meet internal Company standards for quality and workmanship.
Perform 5S activities and maintain equipment in accurate working order, and improve work area cleanliness
Perform work safely and healthily ensuring deviations to standard work instructions that will lead to quality, efficiency, or safety problems are immediately identified.
May be required to work overtime, weekends as vital to meet business-critical requirements.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
