• Title: Accounting Manager, Revenue
• Location: D.C. or Durham, NC
• Shift: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, 1st 3 months 3 days/week in office then 4 to 5 days a month in office

• Compensation: Durham range $90,000-$112,500
DC range $100,000-$125,000

Position Description:
• Manage the contract review process including evaluation of revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606
• Direct the monthly revenue close process including review of transactions, journal entries and accrued and deferred revenue reconciliations
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Align resources across the Revenue team, including appropriate delegation of tasks
• Manage and develop direct reports
• Serve as liaison to client service and sales enablement teams for revenue recognition reporting, guidance and training
• Continuously review, improve and implement processes and procedures and document changes
• Collaborate with cross-team stakeholders to streamline workflows
• Provide support for annual audit
• Partner with Controller on special projects
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level of experience (9 years of experience without a Bachelor's degree)
• Minimum 5-7+ years of relevant professional experience
• Experience supervising a team
• Currently have or pursuing a CPA license
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Position Details: Practice Group Coordinator

This position will assist the Washington, D.C. Director of America’s Mutual Banks (AMB). AMB is a membership-based organization that promotes the interests of mutual banks around the country. Through email campaigns, mail campaigns, social media, and cold calls, the Practice Group Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and enrolling new members. In addition, the Practice Group Coordinator will assist the director with setting agendas for meetings, composing meeting minutes, invoicing members, researching and preparing member news and regulatory alert items, and will lead the planning efforts for AMB’s annual meeting which brings AMB members to D.C. for an evening program, typically in March/April.

• Location: Washington, DC

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Political Science, or Finance
