Position Description:
A fully competent UPS Field Technician applies an intensive and diversified knowledge of complete UPS start-up, testing and operations. Responsible for installation, commissioning, maintaining, repairing, and providing emergency support on Batteries, Chargers, Inverters, Static Switches, and Maintenance Bypass Switches for Commercial, Telecom, and Industrial systems at customers' sites. Performs commissioning focused design reviews, prepares commissioning test procedures and reports, coordinates and oversees on-site testing. Discuss with technical support problems related to maintenance or operation of equipment. The best candidate background for this role would be someone with either extensive electronic or electrical background. Essential functions include:
• Perform initial starts-ups.
• Provide 24/7 on-call emergency services as required.
• Work with other team members to complete custom and large installation projects.
• Educate customers on basic operation of their equipment, informing them of issues they may experience and the necessary corrective actions.
• Establish, promote, and maintain excellent rapport with all customers, co-workers, sales representatives and others as appropriate.
• Maintain and safeguard company-issued tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoot critical power systems down to the root cause and perform repairs with minimum customer downtime or site operation disruption.
• Protect company proprietary information, manuals, and records.

Position Description: Associate Project Manager or Project Manager – Building Automation / HVAC Controls


Building Automation Solutions Group. This position assists in the development of project/program plans. You will also assist in the delivery of routine projects or programs. As an Associate Project Manager, you will also assist in routine project/program management activities (defining scheduling, budget, risk, change, opportunity and resource management activities). You will also assist with technical review of system design and documentation as well as continuous improvement activities. You may also assist in sales activities and client relationships.


Responsibilities will include:
• Manages small to mid-size jobs or multiple projects from pre-booking to customer acceptance.
• Supervises, directs and motivates the project team during planning, estimating, design, installation, start-up, commissioning, turnover and warranty of assigned projects.
• Ensures customer satisfaction during and at final project completion
• Participates in pre-bid reviews and sales to operations turnover meetings to evaluate accuracy of the sales estimate and job layout.
• Analyzes plans, construction contract specifications and codes to determine project requirements
• Follows up with appropriate management to assure understanding and satisfaction of job scope.
• Manages the development of project plans of project activity assuring effective execution by the Project Team.

Position Description: Maintenance Machine Repair Technician

The Maintenance Machine Repair Technician will be working in the Reliability Maintenance environment, and will performing preventative maintenance, modify, install, and maintain company machinery systems and will provide customer training in the implementation of those systems in compliance with company standards and procedures as well as government regulations (SOPs, GMPs, GLPs, PSM, etc.) You can serve as a maintenance advisor in areas of engineering (process design, material selection, documentation, calibration, testing and problem-solving methodology, project scope and follow up). You will also be responsible for priority assessment and decision making as it relates to troubleshooting, diagnostics, assembly, repair, and a proactive maintenance of systems and equipment in a cost-effective manner. Routinely exposed to hazardous materials, heights, temperature extremes, equipment in motion, dusty and dirty conditions, stooping, bending and heavy lifting. May work variable shifts and 24-hr on-call as required.

Roles and Responsibilities:
o Read and understand drawings / blueprints, utilizing this knowledge for the installation / repair of new and existing equipment.
o Requires the use of precision measuring devices, and properly install pumps, agitators, and mechanical seals.
o Will be required to work with precision bearings, electric motor gearing, gearboxes, packaging machinery and related equipment.
o Responsible for priority assessment and decision making as it relates to troubleshooting, diagnostics, assembly, repair, and a proactive maintenance of systems and equipment in a cost-effective manner.
o May work variable shifts and on-call as required.
o Participates in multi-craft work activities as required.
Position Details:
Location: Kalamazoo, MI
Shift: Currently hiring for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

Compensation: Base hourly compensation is $24.00 -$35.50 depending on experience + a shift differential (if working a 2nd or 3rd shift) and you can expect to do 10-15/hrs. of overtime per week. Total 1st Year average $55k-$75k depending on level hired for. Excellent benefit options and relocation assistance if needed. A 4K SIGN ON BONUS will also be PROVIDED!!
Preferred and Required Skills:
• Must have either industry or military veteran (mechanic or electro-mechanical) experience desired!
