Position Details:
• Title: Sr. Turbine Technician
• Location: Odessa, FL
• Shift: Monday – Friday, normal hours when in the office, up to 7 days/week and 12 hours/day when in the field
• Travel: 50%
o 50% within 50 miles of Tampa, 50% outside 50 miles including out of state
• Compensation: $32 – 40/HR, depending on experience, plus OT

Position Description:
• As a Turbine Technician you will work 50% in the field and 50% in the shop working on a team to maintain power generations stations for steam turbines and build control systems
• In the field you will be the face of the company in client facilities calibrating instruments, setting up vibration equipment, monitoring vibration, and balancing rotating machinery
• Troubleshoot electrical systems associated with the turbine generator such as motor controller and protective relay
• Lead field teams for mechanical repair and overhaul of gas and steam turbines and auxiliary systems
• In the office you will maintain and tune equipment such as pressure switches, pressure transducers, and Woodward control systems
• Train in the following areas: vibration analysis, control systems, and Woodward control systems – OEM training
• Write customer proposals and job reports
Requirements:
• Navy training and experience – Navy Nuclear EM/ET, GSE, EM
• Desire to train and learn new systems
• Great customer service attitude and ability to think on your feet
• Strong work ethic
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
• Must have a clean driving record
