Position Overview:
Our client is looking for a Field Service Engineer who will perform repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance on our instruments for clinical diagnostics, life science, and biopharma customers based in either Saint Louis or Columbia, MO, traveling 50 – 75% of the time.

Responsibilities
• Maximizes system uptime through proactive preventive maintenance.
• Act as customer advocate to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintains company assets including parts inventory and leased vehicle.
• Administrative duties include service documentation consistent with FDA regulations.
• Other duties include accurate expense reporting and timekeeping.
• Must maintain learning plan in training database and regular product update training.
• Travel is required.

Qualifications
• 3+ years of transferable field service experience servicing electro-mechanical/electronic/optical/robotics equipment, in a biomedical engineering or a medical diagnostics instrumentation environment; or BA degree and 1 year of equivalent experience.
• Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read, understand and successfully follow medium to highly complex work instructions.
• Strong computer skills with fundamental knowledge of computer networking allowing interface with customer I.T. departments.
• Good customer relation and communication skills, both written and oral.

Position Details: This is an Operations position responsible for supervising the activities associated with night warehouse operations. Duties and Responsibilities:



Supervises the daily work and safety of employees engaged in order selection, product replenishment, order loading, including all warehouse functions, selectors, loaders, and night forklift operators.
Supervises labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
Prepares work schedules including extra workdays and shifts as needed.
Supervises the proper utilization of Company assets in support of the warehouse.
Coordinates required repairs with proper departments as necessary.
Review night warehouse functions and various warehouse productivity reporting.
Suggests efficiency ideas, cost reduction measures and assists with implementation of changes within night warehouse.
Conducts shipping and loading audits daily ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed (including HAACP, food safety and catch-weight documentation) and that material is handled and stored correctly with a minimum potential for loss.
Assist with monitoring sanitation and facility/racking damage to ensure a safe and clean warehouse.
Responsible for the storage and movement of materials and finished goods including:
Shipping and receiving.
Warehousing.
Order filling, picking, and packing.
Inventory control and records management.
Dispatch.
Developing transport schedules, methods, and routes.
Analyzing and projecting transportation costs.
Coordinating customs clearances and permits.
Maintaining, loading, packing, and driving vehicles.
Evaluating, selecting, and managing ongoing relationships with external transport providers (e.g., fuel suppliers,
trucking/shipping companies, etc.).
Acquiring and managing fleet vehicles.


Qualifications:

2 or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred.
1-3 years related experience and/or training.
Obtain a Powered Industrial Equipment Certification from the company within 3 months
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Demonstrate knowledge of spreadsheet software and Word Processing software, and ability to learn Sysco technology
software and programs.

Successfully engage and lead individual and team discussions and meetings.
Work in a disciplined manner and capable of following established procedures, practices and comply with local, state and
federal regulations.

Display the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
