Position: VP of Risk Management

The position is an integral member of the executive team charged with developing and delivering the risk management strategy and related business model for property inspection, risk mitigation and asset protection functions. The role will be responsible for all aspects of operating and managing this mission critical division of the company. - Establish strong relationship with Government entities including alignment with CAL FIRE and related agency Pre-Attack plans across the operating service areas.
- Recruit and establish an Advisory Board of fire experts to support an integrated mitigation approach geared towards establishing and maintaining a thought leadership position in the wildfire risk management arena.

Qualifications:

- Proven success in working with matrixed leadership models, strong competency in service operations, direct experience with emergency services a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in structure ignition models and wildfire property protection preferred.
- Working knowledge of wildfire physics and current fire-retardant products, functional understanding of insurance loss prevention operations and practices a plus.
- Strong knowledge of wildfire management preferred.

Position: Field Service Engineer – Solar
Location: San Antonio, TX
Pay: $70-85k

This is a very dynamic and fast-track position reporting to the Regional Field Service Supervisor. The position will be the key member of service team. This position will also be the technical point of the contact to support sales teams for commercial, industrial and utility-scale businesses. This is an exciting position because it offers candidates the opportunity to become a technical subject matter expert in Solar Technology, a rapidly expanding eco-friendly industry with significant growth forecasted long term.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform as a lead on complex field engineering assignments by commissioning solar inverters for utility scale customers
• Lead Preventive and Corrective Maintenance projects through electronic troubleshooting and testing of solar inverters and components in the field and laboratory using Power Quality Analyzers (PQA) and oscilloscope
• Perform the installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of central solar inverters
• Lead troubleshooting teams to investigate solar plant issues such as DC arrays grid faults, inverter design issues, and utility grid transients
• Provide feedback to the engineering team on possible mechanical and electrical design improvements
• Lead upgrade projects (software and hardware) in the field and interact with customers to explain the technical scope of the project
• Work with customer SCADA engineers to set-up systems communication and parameters, provide comments on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work
• Create Field Service procedures for safety troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Lead BETA projects to determine technical issues before the release of a solar inverter
• Supervise other Field Service Engineers and/or service providers when needed
• Work independently in the field and with R&D Engineers to resolve high level technical issues
• Coordinate and work closely with other engineering, logistics, financial, and program management disciplines to maintain solar plants; comply with engineering SOPs
• Conduct site visits and experimental investigations in order to analyze engineering problems; propose solutions and provide recommendations

Requirements:
• Must possess the desire to learn and execute a broad range of technical functions, you will be responsible for a broad range of tasks and be expected to wear many hats
• Must possess thorough knowledge of electronic systems, troubleshooting, and repair
• Must possess the ability to work with test equipment and hand tools as required
• Must possess customer service, problem-solving skills, and possess decision making and analytical skills
• Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to closely follow instructions and pre-established procedures/SOPs
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, power Point and Outlook)
• OSHA, NFPA70A, Electrical Safety

Education or Desired License and Certificates:
• Power Electronics and troubleshooting experience is required
• Solar industry experiences are a bonus but not required

Position:
The Operation Manager position is responsible for operations of the Branch facilities, service and the timely and accurate completion of the scope of work required for restoring properties damaged by fire, water smoke, storms and other catastrophes to pre-loss conditions in accordance with policies, procedures and professional practices. The result is to produce residential, commercial and institutional restoration jobs that meet or exceeds customer expectations and achieve the financial goals of the organization.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the total results of the Branch to meet or exceed all individual performance criteria.
• Using Restoration Manager and Xactimate analyze labor and material requirements and schedule and oversee the work necessary to restore damaged property to pre-loss conditions.
• Upon receipt of an assigned project the Operation Manager is to evaluate and utilize labor and material costs used for the management purposes such as planning, organizing and scheduling work, process bids, selecting vendors, subcontractors, negotiating contracts and determining cost effectiveness.
• Manage the company’s pipeline of jobs-in-progress through effective capacity planning, scheduling, and time management.
• Review the scope of work agreed upon by the project estimator, and the Project Manager prior to the project start-up. Make sure all procedures are followed and carried out such as Change Orders or supplements necessary and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Review and approve Sub-contractor proposals, process Sub-contractor bid forms to accounting for scheduled draw and final payments.
• Perform regular site visits with the Project Manager for the purpose of monitoring each project, and sub-contractors for the purpose of verifying job performance time restrictions and scheduling requirements.
• Prior to the completion of the project review the field file for all required forms, correspondence and documents before turning it back over to a Customer Services Coordinator to move files closure.
• Participate in and lead the weekly Production meeting and contribute to pre and post-job evaluations to continuously improve quality and service levels to customers.
• Manage P&L to ensure the branch is working towards having greater revenues and fewer expenses.
• Evaluate and report on safety needs and investigate potential safety issues.
• Participate and maintain the rotating On-Call schedule for the Branch. Perform regular on-call duties. Actively lead and participate in emergency services calls while on call and as needed by the company during regular working and non-working hours.
• Support company sales and marketing initiative by maintaining and improving relationships with claimants, insurers, claims adjustors, subcontractors and other individuals and groups that influence buying decisions directly or indirectly impacting the company
• Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

Requirements:
