Position Description
As a Center Manager, you will act as the general manager for a Plasma Collection Center and have overall responsibility for the center's operation. You will work under general occasional guidance and general oversight of regional management. You will also manage the daily operations of the center, supervising operations and quality control, and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and regulations. Responsibilities will include:
• Responsible for meeting quarterly goals, staffing/hours per labor efficiency standards/cost per liter (CPL) targets, and Quality key performance indicators (KPI) goals.
• Create appropriate organizational environment and value systems which stimulate the morale and productivity of the work force and its leadership.
• Operate the center and manage employees and operations to the highest standard of ethics and integrity.
• Manage staff to ensure that training and quality goals are met and to implement operational changes and maximize center efficiency.
• Monitor and evaluate operations. Develop action plans to maximize center efficiency and supervise the implementation of process improvements.
• Manage headcount to provide for efficient staffing through high and low production intervals, providing accurate and timely projections to regional management team in advance of cyclical and seasonal or situational spikes.
• Accountable for the direction of all personnel functions including hiring, assignment and direction of work, development and training, disciplinary actions, and termination and the maintenance of all personnel records
• Provide strategic direction and planning.
• Through Assistant Manager, oversee donor selection, plasma collection, and shipment and records completion, to maintain the highest production standards in accordance with state and federal regulations, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved Standard Operating Procedures, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), and Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
• Ensure the adequate training of production employees and demonstrate how tasks are to be performed to meet company standards.
• Accountable for the adequacy of inventory of all goods and supplies necessary for center operations and oversee ordering goods as needed.
• Assure center employees maintain the facility in a neat and clean condition and all equipment is kept in good working order.
• Accountable for freezer management, including overseeing plasma shipments and equipment failures. Required to answer all freezer alarms and deal with them appropriately.
• Develop community representation with regards to all public relations and marketing campaigns to attract and retain donors.
• Maintain thorough familiarity and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved Standard Operating Procedures, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), and Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
• Direct through the management team and with Training and Quality staff to ensure that training and quality goals are met.
• Build rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction with the center to support long-term donation.
• Work with Div/Corp management in the preparation of annual budget and managed facility to consistently achieve production targets and quality goals at the agreed-upon cost structure.

Position Description

Position Requirements
• Valid driver's license.
• Associates degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, professional experience, or military electronics experience required. Associate Degree Electronics (or equivalent military experience). Must be able to read and interpret schematics and electrical diagrams through to the component level. Isolate the system fault at the component level for electronic, vacuum, and mechanical systems and repair.
• Must have good organizational skills, the ability to multitask, work under pressure, and exercise good judgment.

Hands on experience with PLC troubleshooting and/or understanding of ladder logic, AC/DC Motors, VFDs, pneumatic, hydraulic and machine shop skills are also required. Relocation Assistance: Assistance can be discussed / provided on a case-by-case basis.
Compensation: Target base salary ~$60K, with a 7-10% increase upon successful completion of PV’s Project Lead Certification Program and performance-based merit increases annually. And though this is a salaried, exempt position, you will still be eligible for straight-time overtime pay if you work 46+ billable hours in a week. Additionally, PV has a profit sharing program and after 6 months of service employees are eligible for the 20% before tax profits that PV pays out to employees semiannually.



Requirements: A 4-yr degree is preferred, preferably in an Engineering, Life Sciences, or other Technical Field. You will be expected to become an industry expert in your field, so you must have a strong technical aptitude and business sense, and the ability to learn new systems easily.
