A leading advanced manufacturing facility is seeking an Instrumentation Associate / Controls Technician to support process control systems and automation across production operations. This role is focused on PLC troubleshooting, controls support, and instrumentation maintenance in a high-performance industrial environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems
• Perform PLC program edits, resets, and installations, including ladder logic troubleshooting
• Support and maintain Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC systems
• Provide advanced troubleshooting of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum systems
• Assist maintenance teams in resolving complex process and control issues
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or equivalent military training preferred
• Strong PLC troubleshooting experience required, including:
  • Ladder logic
  • Program editing and uploads/downloads
  • System resets and fault recovery
• Experience with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of:
  • Industrial electrical systems
  • Process controls and instrumentation
  • Hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems
• Ability to read and work from complex schematics and technical drawings

As a Commissioning/Qualification/Validation Project Engineer, you lead project teams including Project Engineers to deliver systems that are safe, functional, and compliant with design requirements and regulations. You are accountable for overall project execution, client communication, financial management, and team leadership to ensure successful outcomes. This is a full-time, 1st shift exempt position that reports to the President and is in North Carolina.

Primary responsibilities of the position include:

• Lead project scope evaluation and develop commissioning and qualification plans in collaboration with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
• Develop project estimates and proposals. Develop change orders as necessary.
• Manage and coordinate project deliverables across commissioning, qualification, and validation disciplines, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met or exceeded.

Reporting to the COO, the Region Director of Operations will oversee and lead operations across 5 manufacturing sites across the Northeast. This role will focus on standardizing processes, improving efficiency, and driving profitability while fostering a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operations leader with a track record of success in high-volume, low-margin manufacturing environments. The Region Director will be responsible for roughly 400 employees across the 5 sites, with 7-10 direct report operational leaders.
