Position: Building Engineer

The Building Engineer utilizes advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. Working under limited supervision, the Building Engineer monitors building system operations and performance using several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling

? Performs welding, carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.
? Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed. Requirements ? High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
? 4 years of related technician experience (electrical, mechanical and/or electronics) or trade school training.
? Universal CFC certification preferred. Additional certification in one or more of the following desired: electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
? Responsible for personal safety and the safety of those who are affected by your work.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in the electrical field primarily focused on AC systems. You’ll need to be able to interpret and update drawings, schematics, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Also, you will need to be self-driven and available and able to work any applicable overtime in accordance with plant and maintenance needs. Strong prioritization skills are a must and good mechanical knowledge is an advantage
