Position Description
As a Field Service Technician, you will perform both complex and basic on-site customer support activities involving the installation, service, repair, hardware integration, hardware and software upgrades, support, troubleshooting, and training on products at customer sites in a timely and cost-effective manner. Additional responsibilities will include:

• Working directly with customers in the operation and maintenance of the system and serving as company expert with customers on administrative and technical matter.
• Conducting on-site installation of complex product and following testing procedures to ensure proper working order. Writing new (and making recommendations on improving) existing test, maintenance and training procedures.
• Performing remote support as required for customer and services engineers.

Salary: $65K - $68K+, plus overtime.
Travel: Extensive travel (Monday-Friday) via plane, automobile or other means of transportation. Occasional work/travel on weekends.

Requirements:
• Must have an Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Must have 5-7 years hands-on field service experience. Military experience is a substitute.
• Must have demonstrated competency and high level of understanding of control system electronic and high voltage power supplies (RF, DC, and microwave).
• Must have competency in use of basic hand tools.
