Position Details Location: Simsboro, LA Compensation: Target base salary is $80K+ dependent on experience. Incumbent will be eligible for a company performance-based bonus that can reach up to 12% Total 1st Year $80K-$95K+. Shift: Monday – Friday 1st Shift Supervisory Responsibilities: Incumbent will supervise a team of technicians and operators. Travel Requirements: Up to 20% as needed for training and plant visits. As a Process Optimizer, you will to implement Lean Six Sigma methodology and organization within the plant. This position steers the plant goal deployment process and identify opportunities for improvements based on plant targets KPIs. Additional responsibilities will include: • Responsible for coordinating and executing LSS projects and workshops together with the different departments. • Deliver Lean Six Sigma training and provide belt project mentoring towards certification in the plant. • Coordinate and carry out improvement projects and workshops on plant level. • Work together with the central OEG team for the development of all parts of the system being defined and developed locally in order to standardize any customizations made for the everyday use of the system and any simplifications introduced. • Work together with the functional manager to identify within each function the losses. Position Requirements • Degree in a technical related field or a Business degree with technical understanding is required. An advanced degree is preferred. • Certification in Six Sigma Black Belt with proven working knowledge of the Lean tools is preferred. • Minimum of three 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with an emphasis in World Class Manufacturing is preferred. • Prior experience as a continuous improvement leader is highly desired. • Understanding of WCM continuous improvement principles operational excellence problem solving and statistical methods. • People management including teamwork and coaching ability to motivate develop and influence others. • Strong technical report writing, and oral communication required. • Able to communicate at all levels. • Proficient in Microsoft Office products. • Self-motivated and passionate about continuous improvement.
