As a Maintenance Technician, you will maintain, monitor, and repair facilities/manufacturing equipment to ensure their reliable and safe operation. You will execute WOs and PMs for ensuring ice cream equipment is ready for service. You will also support controls team with PLC diagnostics and troubleshooting, VFD setup and support, controls systems. Additional responsibilities will include:
• Plan, perform, and/or oversee preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Plan and perform routine system evaluations of mechanical equipment, identifying performance trends or issues and recommending courses of action.
• Resolve equipment malfunctions by evaluating performance breakdowns, identifying the root cause and taking corrective action within the WCM methodology.
• Assist with Controls system modifications and projects.
• Perform plant electrical PMs to ensure reliability of our electrical system.
• Interpret and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations on projects.
• Participate on evaluation teams comprised of R&D personnel, contractors and vendors to introduce new processes and/or equipment.
• Draft procedures and manuals for preventive maintenance of process systems and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs and safety policies while planning and completing projects
• Develop and conduct training modules.
• Ensure that required safety practices are being followed at all times by contractors performing work.

Position Details
Location: St. Albans, VT
Salary: $25.64 + OT and Shift Diff (.75 for 2nd shift and $1.25 for 3rd shift).
Shift Work: Openings on 2nd and 3rd shift. 2nd shift is Monday through Friday – 2:30pm to 11PM. 3rd shift is Sunday through Friday – 10:30pm to 7am.

Position Requirements
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills required.
• Strong Computer Knowledge and Aptitude.
• Strong PLC knowledge.
• Strong Electrical skills (schematics and low voltage).
• Skills sufficient to effectively work cross-functionally with other departments to adhere to time lines.
• Experience working in a maintenance shop, using power tools, bench tools, and other various machinery.
• Willingness to work on the manufacturing floor--to be exposed to mechanical operations and cleaning/caustic solutions.
• Required to occasionally lift 50 lbs.

As a Production Line Technician, you will be both the leader and the mechanical resource of an assigned line and shift in the operations packaging area. Your responsibilities will include delivery of shift attainment and OEE (Operational Equipment Efficiency) targets with no quality defects or safety issues through technical development of the team, staffing, problem-solving, and teamwork. You will be accountable for your team’s performance in the following:
• Quality.
• Completion of CRQS checks and SNCRs on shift.
• Submission of any incident Root Cause Analysis (Q-EWO) and near misses on shift.
• World class execution of GMP.
• Productivity.
• Lead Factory Operating System (FOS) line meeting to set clear plan for their line team.

You will have to understand the line strategy and deliver that strategy on shift. You will have to lead a collaborate autonomous work team by building equipment knowledge, technical and problem-solving skills to safely and efficiently deliver high quality product.

Position Requirements
• Associate degree in relevant electro-mechanical/technical field or enrollment in a technical program is required.
• 2 or more years related work experience within an operations environment with a strong technical skillset preferred.
• Ability to develop leadership, facilitation, coaching and organization skills.
• Ability to develop team, work collaboratively, and perform in an autonomous work environment with a strong sense of self-accountability.
