Area Manager (Odessa, TX)

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible to lead, motivate and engage the route service team at a company depot to safely deliver world class customer service and sales growth (profitability). You will ensure efficient route operations that best leverage all assets and resources available and will lead the execution of performance and operational goals focused in the areas of safety people service quality cost and growth. Additional responsibilities will include:
• Lead sales performance within an area of approximately $3-$6M in annual sales revenue.
• Manage route productivity and asset/resource utilization (typically five to eight Route Service Reps and several warehouse employees).
• Maintain productive route structure by ensuring effective work hours and expectations are met as well as route sequence integrity.
• Lead execution of delivery and service standards to ensure a high-quality customer experience through efficient route operations.
• Execute and enforce safety standards within the Depot; drive accountability of safe behaviors by coaching team members, identifying and removing risks, and participating in accident investigations.
• Focus on effective talent selection hiring and successful onboarding of new team members.
• Ensure successful customer service delivery as well as recovery; serve as local point of contact for customer service communication and follow-up coordination with the call center and overall issue resolution.
• Oversee the warehouse team to ensure execution of efficient warehouse operations (management of fleet assets for the location compliance with Pre- and Post-Trip inspections utilization PM schedule repair/maintenance, breakdown, pick-up, etc),
• Review financial reporting/KPI #s to make informed decisions on cost controls, route productivity, product inventory controls, maintenance of assets, depot supplies, profitability, etc.

Compensation: $65K-$73K + DOE Qtrly bonus up to 25% and an excellent benefits package

Logistics Manager (Joneboro, AR)

As a Logistics Manager, you will be the right hand of the Zone Manager. This position is responsible for facility operations strategy and execution fleet and logistics P&L in the Zone. Responsibilities will include:
• Establish review and ensure appropriate method of Operations and best-in-class operational execution for the zone such as distribution receiving handling and storing of all product.
• Maintain operational efficiency for inventory management and verification of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Extended member of the Division Logistics Team and accountable for strategy implementation within the zone including full responsibility for Zone Logistics P&L. This responsibility includes truck/depot inventory management loading productivity shrink and damage reductions and provide period and YTD updates on depot performance metrics.
• Develop warehouse talent strategy and Material Handler labor usage in zone ensuring labor targets being met/exceeded and establish staffing contingencies and approving OT and the use of temp labor.
• Drive zero-based budgeting strategy and cost improvements/reductions managing local vendor networks and assist in preparation of budgets for operating expenses and capital expenses.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety and fleet policies and procedures support and lead company change initiatives and lead within matrix structure.
• Manage, train, and develop subordinates if applicable. Maintain a significant dotted-line managerial responsibility for all Material Handlers staff in zone.
• Responsible to ensure that you and your subordinates (if applicable) conduct yourselves in a manner consistent with company mission values code of ethics policies and other standards of conduct.

Position Details

Salary: $85-90K + Depending on Experience. Qtrly bonus up to 25% and an excellent benefit package.
