• Failure analysis, service, and repairs for customers.
• Troubleshoot electrical, air conditioning, and emissions systems issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance – changing oil, checking batteries, lubrication, etc.

Position Description:
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, modifying, fabricating, and repairing mobile and stationary equipment electrical systems, hydraulic systems, diesel engines, drive trains, and track equipment undercarriages by using specialized testing equipment and electrical systems knowledge. Responsible for all tasks related to preventative maintenance programs, such as reposting fluid leaks, performing lube work, taking fluid samples, and inspecting components and parts for proper operation, damage, wear, etc. Repair and replace components and parts as needed. Detailed attention with tune-ups and diagnoses of vehicle malfunction on gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles and hydraulic systems. A thorough understanding of A/C and hydraulic troubleshooting/repairing, in addition to an understanding of VIMS, SIS, and ET systems. Solid working knowledge of engines, power trains, electrical, fuel, cooling systems, and power generation, and being able to troubleshoot and repair them. Proficiency must be shown in engine repair, transmission repair, differential repair, hydraulic system repair, and written and welding testing. Ability to read and write instructions, perform simple mathematical calculations, and keep records. Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams. Follow maintenance manuals and parts books to set up and perform tasks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Working knowledge of manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools. Ability to use hand tools and trade-specific tools. Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions is required.
