Position Descriptions: Field Service Technician
The Field Service Technician’s workday will be spent ensuring & providing client’s compliance to pyrometry specifications for automotive and aerospace customers. You will have a company vehicle, company phone, and company laptop provided. The Field Service Technician will travel to clients in the area, and after appropriate training will be able to travel directly from home. From AMS2750E to CQI 9 specifications, you will work on heating treatment items in mostly industrial environments keeping the pyrometry portion of the clients’ processing up to date and within specification. You will work with temperature controllers conducting calibrations, determining system accuracy with tests, and you will also conduct burner work. These items are trainable as the company is looking for someone with proven mechanical and electrical aptitude, a sociable and relational customer-centric attitude and personality, and a solid work ethic.
Position Details:
Location: Greater Detroit Area (Livonia, Canton, Dearborn, Sterling Heights, Warren, Troy, etc.)
Travel Requirements: 10% travel at most
Shift Work: M-F from 8:30am-5:00pm

Position Details:
Location: Home-based anywhere in the greater Omaha, NE region / area
Travel: There is a decent amount of travel associated with this job, as you will regularly be visiting and working at Customer sites in the Central Plains region (primarily within several hours of your home base location), but you will be responsible for building your own travel / service schedule. The typical work week is Thursday through Monday (with Tuesdays & Wednesdays as off days), and you can expect to be gone overnight for a portion of your “work week” nights (the exception being when you are servicing customers near your home).
Compensation: Target base salary ~$70K - $75K + a variable compensation package of $16K+ annually. You will also receive a company car with unlimited personal mileage.
Requirements: The best candidates for this position will be transitioning active duty or military veteran technicians with outstanding troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair skills with electronic, electrical and / or mechanical systems. This role is a great fit for ETs/ATs/FCs with mechanical ability. A new Customer Service Engineer will initially go through a period of technical training, which includes initial training in Vancouver, WA and hands-on training at client sites. Afterwards, you will be located on the site of a major semiconductor manufacturer (such as Intel, Global Foundries, Micron, etc.). In your role, you will conduct troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of the electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics and mechanical systems, as well as specialty gas systems of the world’s best semiconductor manufacturing machines. You will be responsible for maintaining the overall productivity by ensuring system performance is optimized. Your training can take up to 6 months.
