Office Work
Technical review of RFPs and bids to create pricing templates from defined specifications.
Apply project parameters from bids to pricing template to project out costs and sell prices for project proposals.
Using established tools and processes, draft pricing proposals in response to bidding documents
Analyze field gathered data (meter testing results, metering survey results, etc.) whether such data was collected by the PDE or by others and apply to various established business modeling tools.
Review new technologies in metering and AMI for use feasibility and constructability in future projects.
Construct parts lists for turn-key projects based on scope of work defined in bids or pricing templates.
Contact material suppliers to obtain project specific part numbers and pricing.
Prepares customer material submittal documents for approval & material purchase requests.
Prepares preliminary change order request supporting documentation.
Coordinates and facilitates internal pricing review with management and operations.
Conducts project hand-off with operations to review scope or work and specific bidding requirements


Position Details:

Location: Home-based anywhere in the Central U.S. close to major airport. Knoxville, TN is ideal and convenient.

Travel: 25%-50% based on project/business needs. High concentration of projects in Southeast U.S. and Texas. Home every weekend. Initially averages two weeks per month along with some training for first 2-3 month then stabilizes as needed.

Pay: $60K-$65K salary + quarterly bonus.

Requirements: Candidates must be good at putting information together to grow business and support sales. You will do deep dives into bidding requirements, material pricing, and cost. You must be great at technical reading, detail oriented, have outstanding Microsoft Excel abilities, and be able to quickly learn pricing models for projects for larger commercial testing and overseeing residential testing. Candidates should have a good understanding of project management with excellent communication, strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, ability to manage priorities and workflow, and versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Candidates must be able to start work in July or August 2021.

The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for the management of field service technicians to deliver timely, high quality customer technical service for rotary vacuum chamber systems and is instrumental in development and enhancement of customer relationships. The Service Supervisor will advise and assist in classroom and field technical and safety training, schedule, supervise
and mentor field service technicians, assist as needed to trouble shoot and resolve high priority customer equipment problems and partner with sales to build and deliver service capabilities that delight customers.
The position will assist in recruiting, selecting, and training 3 field service technicians who will be assigned to our client facilities.
