Position Description
As a Field Service Technician, you will support the company’s fuel cell products currently installed in electric lift trucks, including performing preventative maintenance and resolving breakdowns. You will be responsible for the installation and servicing of fuel cells at a specific location; and for reporting breakdown events, parts ordering and maintenance of fuel cells at a specific location. This position presents a great amount of exposure to customer personnel and electric lift truck operators, and thus requires a person with excellent technical skills as well as communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills. Each site has two-four technicians supporting operations. As a new hire, you can expect to work with the lead technician over the first 30-60 days focused on OJT and formalized training to support site installs and maintenance. Responsibilities will include:
• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain the fleet at a specific location.
• Perform specialized service procedures, including field retrofits and software and hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• Provide emergency support service to customers as required.

Position Details
Location: Detroit, MI
Salary: Starting compensation is $21–$25+/hr depending on location, experience, and qualifications plus OT.
Hours: You can expect about 50 hours per work in this role.
Travel Requirements: You will be dispatched from home to work within your assigned territory (must reside within a 30-minute travel radius). For locations that are more remote, you can expect to travel via air/train along with overnight accommodation as needed.

Position Description:
As a Field Engineer, you will work directly for the Superintendent. This role is designed to prepare you for the next step on the path to becoming a builder, while assisting the Superintendent with front-line field management. It is a developmental role, and one that will require a considerable amount of work, persistence, problem-solving, and a positive attitude.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Layout/surveying work
• Checking concrete forms for accuracy and adequacy of construction, including all embedded items before placement of concrete
• Assisting with quality control, safety and coordination of subcontractors as delegated by the Project and Area Superintendents

• Develop ability to review and navigate within the current 3D model viewing and scheduling software, and collaborate with the VDC team

• Operate all PIT equipment per OSHA specifications, including daily inspections, changing of batteries/propane tank, etc.

• Hazardous materials handling to include unloading rail cars and tanker trucks containing isopentane and butane.
• Perform all “end of shift” job functions including:
o Communicate all equipment and material issues arising from the operation of the shift with on-coming Maintenance personnel and/or Shift Supervisors/Maintenance Manager at each shift change.
o Clean and organize work area
o All maintenance parts and tools are properly stored

LANGUAGE SKILLS
