As a Nuclear Product Engineering Supervisor, you will oversee the direction and assignment of work within the nuclear valve engineering team. You will be a first line leader for all product engineering needs for your group, maintaining relationships with direct reports as well as stakeholders within the manufacturing facility and externally. This is a working supervisory role, and the supervisor will be required to perform engineering work as necessary to achieve the goals of the department. You will be processing/approving nuclear orders by preparing/approving drawings, models, design reports, owner specification reviews. Further, you will also be mentoring junior engineers in the same function. This is a unique opportunity to design valves that are tightly controlled by ASME standards that are intended for use in Nuclear Power Plants

Primary Responsibilities:

• Directs the activities and provides guidance to Nuclear Product Engineers and to meet project objectives.
• Responsible for activities of construction in Nuclear Program with stop-work authority, ensuring Code compliance of components manufactured.

• Performs final review of Detailed Design Packages (separate from Design Reports).
• Performs final review of engineering forms containing design inputs and order entry data.

Must-Have Skills:

Must-Have Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting within a manufacturing or operational environment
• Strong SQL skills for querying ERP, MES, and production databases
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization platforms
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, macros, modeling)
• Experience extracting, cleaning, and structuring data from APIs, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), or flat files
• Working knowledge of manufacturing ERP systems (Infor CSI/Syteline, SAP, Oracle)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders

• Base Salary Range: $80,000 – $120,000

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support maintenance technicians on 3rd shift
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and controls issues to minimize downtime
• Implement corrective actions for critical equipment failures and extended downtime events
• Maintain a strong presence on the production floor, partnering with operations leadership
• Develop and manage team schedules to ensure proper coverage while minimizing overtime
• Coordinate staffing adjustments, call-ins, and shift coverage as needed
• Maintain accurate scheduling visibility 4 weeks out and communicate changes promptly
• Monitor CMMS usage to ensure accurate work order documentation and task completion
• Identify equipment reliability improvements and initiate work orders or projects
• Support and lead training initiatives; ensure completion and compliance
• Recommend and manage personnel actions including hiring, coaching, and discipline
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support capital or facility projects
• Coordinate complex repairs and collaborate with external technical support as needed
• Promote safety, GMP compliance, and a positive team-oriented culture

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education

• Associate degree or equivalent technical education/experience preferred
• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and welding proficiency
• Experience utilizing CMMS and standard business software (PC, email, etc.)
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team development skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including weekends or off-hours as needed

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, industrial noise, and powered equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
