As an Area Maintenance Manager (AMM) you are responsible for the performance of a team of Technicians / Mechanics / Operating Engineers over multiple shifts at a large scale facility to perform maintenance and repair on client equipment and facilities systems. This is a high visibility leadership position, and a great stepping stone to advanced leadership roles within JLL. Other responsibilities include:
- Establish and maintain a safety-first culture.
- Drive performance as measured by client’s Key Performance Indicators
- Provide engineering guidance to Technicians as needed to ensure operations are aligned with site and portfolio goals and values
- Develop and manage operating expense budgets for relevant sites including monthly variance reports
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers to deliver goods and services against contracts and expectations
- Work with Regional Manager to oversee the delivery of maintenance and repair services.

Salary: Target base salary ~$100K - $115K (depending on location and experience) + bonus opportunities
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years’ experience managing maintenance teams, budget responsibilities, supplier management, problem solving, and client/ customer relations
- Relevant training in Material Handling Equipment, Controls Systems and general building operations
- Must have solid knowledge of building mechanical, electrical systems (MEP)
- Experience required using CMMS systems and reporting
- Ability to align, motivate and lead a team including creating accountability
