Go to end ⇓Safety is the most important part of all jobs; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
The goal of the Operations Leadership Program is to learn all facets of our conduit business and to be qualified to apply and assume a supervisor role upon completion.
- 12-24 months of hands-on, in-depth, fast-paced training in both Louisville and Cedar Springs.
- Learn and be expected to model our "Safety First" Culture including OSHA and Safety programs.
- Exposed to all facets of the conduit manufacturing business including operations, commercial, supply chain, finance, HR, etc.
- Interact with various levels of corporate personnel, customers, vendors/suppliers, and teammates to resolve problems, and ensure steady delivery of products.
- Collaborate with other managers to plan and direct work of the organization.
- Identify trends and recommend proactive action to manage business situations.
- Work with and through management to develop and implement actions that protect company assets and profitability.
- Travel and be willing to relocate after program completion.
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, management, supply chain, engineering, or related field.
- Junior officer with proven experience in personnel management, mission planning, and operational execution and leading cross-functional teams
- Ability, willingness, and desire to work in a hands-on, manufacturing environment.
- Ability to build relationships, collaborate and work efficiently with team members.
- Willingness to travel during the program and relocate upon completion of program.
- Availability to work nights, weekends and a rotating schedule.
- Average 40-50 hours per week.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Proven leadership skills
