Location: Report from home – living near Los Angeles or the Bay Area. (SFO, OAK, LAX)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday - Friday
Compensation: $30 – 38 per hour + OT (1st year candidates make 100k+ with OT)

Travel: This is a high-travel role. They try to keep the travel regional, but you are also responsible for around 50% of overnight weekly travel to Canada and other worksites across the U.S. Techs only work and travel Monday-Friday. No travel on weekends. All travel expenses covered + $50 per diem per day.
Position Description: As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance, fault diagnosing and repair, new installations, and basic operator training. You will sometimes act as a backup technician for other regions depending on the business's needs. You service equipment that covers the Company CAM tables. You diagnose and repair faulty equipment on site. You take care of the communication with the internal CS departments and end customers. You conduct repair visits, installations, and training. You instruct the customer about the day-to-day use and maintenance of their hardware equipment and software collateral. Your complete intervention reports, acceptance, including sign-off by the customer. You increase Customer Satisfaction by conducting courtesy visits, organizing follow-up calls, and exhibiting professionalism when on customer sites. You work in close collaboration with the Hardware support team. You facilitate the return flow of spare parts. You keep your knowledge up to date by attending online training courses, self-study, and in-depth preparation.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience. This role is 60% electronics and 40% mechanical in nature. Able to demonstrate the base functions of our hardware and related workflow in a customer environment. Customer-oriented with a strong affinity with software.
• Ability to travel overnight and internationally to Canada.
