Voices at the Table - Careers in STEM for Women & Diverse Talent at Chemours

In this episode of #PeoplewithPurpose, host Steve Amsden sits down with three amazing women at Chemours, a different kind of chemistry company that responsibly enables every day products from smart devices to cars and home air conditioning. Rosalie (Rose) Becsey, Plant Manager, Jasmine Smith, Key Account Consultant, and Amber Wellman, Director, Sustainability, join Steve and talk about their education and career journeys that led them to a career in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) at Chemours. Their stories are insightful illustrations of the many paths women and people of diverse background can take to find a fulfilling career in STEM.

While currently underrepresented in the field, Chemours aims to change that with significant diversity goals aimed at bringing in more women and diverse talent. For example, Chemours has 55% women and 44% ethnic diversity on their executive team. Chemours understands that having team members from different backgrounds fosters innovation to build a better, more sustainable future. Listen to this episode to hear Rose, Jasmine, and Amber explain how having a voice at the table speaks to Chemours' vision, "Together, we can create a better world through the power of our chemistry".
