Position Description:
As part of the Engineering team, you would analyze data, draft implementation plans for production process optimization. Seeking out ways to maximize efficiencies by eliminating the waste of valuable resources that directly impact our overall operating costs. Responsible for managing the activities of the maintenance department of a large complex plant to keep building and equipment in proper state of repair, in order to reduce mechanical downtime and keep product flow and production lines running at maximum efficiency. Responsible for the development and implementation of maintenance systems associated with High Performing Manufacturing Organizations (Preventative/ Predictive Maintenance, TPM, etc.). Number two at the plant – reports direct to Plant Manager.


Requirements:
A Candidate for this role should have at a minimum 8+ years of experience for this role. Candidates must have a strong blend of mechanical, electrical and ammonia or industrial refrigerant experience. Degree not required but is a plus. Looking for someone that can be hands on and is a strong motivator and able to build relationships. Educate customers on equipment operation and performance. Complete accurate written record of work performed. Willingness to periodically travel, as needed, to customer job sites to provide equipment training, maintenance and repair. Ability to assume leadership role while on customer job sites. Ability and willingness to mentor and train apprentice mechanics.

Requirements:
• High school diploma required; Vocational / Technical degree highly desired.
• Ability to articulate in a professional manner and explain solutions.
• Able to read electrical diagrams and DVM.
• Familiar and / or experienced with: Heavy machinery, hydraulics, electrical system repair and maintenance; CANbus/ programmable logic controllers/computers; hydraulic schematics; and working kinematics.
• Personal Tools preferred but not initially required.

Position Description:
As a Controls Systems Engineer you will have the responsibility for supporting and improving the Plant DCS, basic regulatory control configuration, and applications and Safety Instrumented Systems, as well as identifying and implementing new systems to improve plant profitability, stability, reliability, and safety. This position handles a broad range of challenges that require routine interaction with other work groups to ensure maximum value is derived from the control systems.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Implement, maintain and troubleshoot, DeltaV Process Control Systems
• Define and support DCS regulatory control strategies
• Monitor system and network performance
• Ensure compliance with corporate security standards, control system life cycle planning and budgeting
• Provide technical consultation, formal and informal training, and development of documentation, standards and procedures in relation to their role
• Act in a support or team role for a variety of capital and expense projects
• Provide technical consulting and direction to the Process Control Specialist and less experienced Control Engineers
• Provide support for controller performance and alarm management KPIs

Requirements:
• 4 years of experience in key technologies, including DeltaV DCS is a hard requirement
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR Minimum of 5 years of Control Systems experience in manufacturing industry but having both would be preferred
• This position requires negotiating skills and the ability to resolve conflict across departmental lines to achieve objectives
• The individual should understand process engineering theory and could learn control theory fundamentals
• This position requires a commitment to learn and understand the development and application of new control systems and new control strategies
• The ability to manage multiple and changing priorities is essential
