Position Summary: In this role you will provide technical expertise and guidance to all levels of technicians. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair: brake, air systems, electrical, HVAC, drivetrain and transmission, engine and exhaust, suspension, and steering issues
  • Engage with external manufacturers and warranty contacts to maximize reimbursement of services
  • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
  • Diagnose vehicle problems based on customer complaints and inspection
  • Save, tag and deliver parts of the job to the parts department if under warranty or if requested by the customer
  • Communicate with service advisor or shop foreman immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlines is not needed or if repairs cannot be completed with promised time
  • Communicate with the customer on specific complaints or details of repairs as needed
  • Document all work performed and recommended on repair order
  • Road test vehicles when required
  • Maintain training and education as assigned

Position Summary: Service Advisors are the first point of contact with our customers and are well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling and customer service. Responsibilities include:
  • Oversee flow of Drive Lane and ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
  • Greet customers, answering phones and questions
  • Open and close repair orders
  • Ensure proper company and warranty processes are followed
  • Prepare and present accurate repair estimates
  • Obtain repair authorizations
  • Keep all parties updated on diagnostics and repair progress
  • Supervise the shop operation and workflow during the shift
  • Distribute work between technicians efficiently ensuring daily inventory of technicians' time is sold to service customers


  • Minimum of 3 years of Service Advisor experience in a medium-heavy duty truck environment, or experience in a related field

Position Summary: In this role, you will fulfill internal control function of the dealership's warranty claims in the most efficient and accurate manner
  • Prepare, code and submit all International and vendor warranty claims in a timely manner.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with all International and vendor policies and warranty procedures and ensure proper documentation on all claims.
  • Assist the service department in answering phone calls when necessary.
  • Reconcile all warranty receivables with payments within the appropriate accounting schedule weekly.

  • Keep abreast of all warranty policy and product changes.

  • Ensure that all warrantable repairs are documented, technicians' comments are descriptive and precise and that the allotted time is noted prior to submission for closing.
  • Track all warranty parts by tagging with R/O number, date of replacement, and technician name or number.
  • Box and ship all requested warranty parts to their designated locations.
  • File and retain all warranty service records as required by the vehicle & engine manufacturers and component suppliers.
  • Attend service staff meetings as required.
  • Explain warranty coverage's to customers if required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
