Description

Our Service Centers are continuing to grow and so does our need to develop more Automotive Service Technicians. Our Automotive Service Technician benefits from our Career Road Map training and company paid ASE Certifications. We are looking for car enthusiasts who are interested in building a career with Tire Kingdom (TK). Job Responsibilities

  • Perform tire installations, lube and automotive repairs
  • Conducts vehicle inspections for mechanical services
  • Perform schedule maintenance services on vehicles
  • Assist in receiving and stocking inventory
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Criminal Background Check
  • Pre-Employment Drug Screen
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Tire and lube technician experience a plus but not required
  • Automotive repair experience a plus but not required

Description

In the automotive Sales Associate role (Customer Service Advisor) you'll have a great opportunity to learn the auto services business. This role is responsible for selling tires, tire related services, mechanical services and providing excellent customer service in a retail store. Our Career Road Map Program can prepare you for a Service Manager and/or Store Manager role within the organization. Many of our District Managers and Regional Vice Presidents started out as Sales Associate. Tire Kingdom (TK) is committed to developing our associates and promoting from within the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in selecting the proper fitment of tires
  • Inform customers of vehicle inspection findings
  • Educate customers on schedule maintenance services
  • Assist Store Manager and Service Manager with operational duties

The role of the Automotive Service Manager is to manage and direct all service department activities of a retail store engaged in selling tires and related automotive parts and mechanical services. At National Tire and Battery our Automotive Mechanics benefit from our Career Road Map training and company paid ASE Certifications. Levels of Automotive Mechanics:

  • Technician C: Basic automotive repair experience in brake services, suspension and basic electrical systems.
  • Technician B: Automotive repair experience in steering & suspension and alignment services; brake services; and cooling system services. A Technician B possesses the G1, A4 and A5 ASE certifications.
  • Technician A: Automotive repair experience with engine diagnostics, suspension, brake services, electrical and A/C systems. A Technician A possesses the G1, A4, A5, A1, A6, A7, and A8 ASE certifications.
  • Master Technician: 5 years or more of Automotive Repair Experience with ASE Certifications A1-A8.
