Position Description:

o Calibrate equipment to relevant standards and procedures.
o Use and train all current test methods. Evaluate the result of the reasonableness test.
o Customer training of operation and software of Company machines.
o Project management, Provide leadership on relocation jobs and large Installation.
o Prepare written reports of calibration results according to ISO/IEC 17025
o Support customers and other personnel with technical advice when required.
o Troubleshoot electronic & electromechanical devices from schematics and mechanical drawings.

Requirements/ Relevant Experience:
• Skilled technicians with formal technical training and 4+ years of technical experience.
• Military backgrounds in electronics, electrical maintenance, and/or mechanical component repair are all great skill sets and backgrounds that translate successfully to these roles.
• Technical metrology or prior calibration experience is preferred. Experience with universal destructive testing machines and extensometers is also preferred but not required.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline

Position Description:
The Technical Support Center Engineer will troubleshoot electronic and electromechanical systems based on schematics and mechanical drawings and provide technical support to customers and Company sales and service staff regarding testing equipment, calibration equipment, procedures, software support, application support, and system validation. This engineer will assist the service operations team with technical questions and administrative details, help customers with testing equipment, software, or application questions through various channels. This role will act as a liaison between customers and production/engineering departments for complex issues and actively manage open installations and warranty claims. This Technical Support Center Engineer will perform in-house repairs, testing system modernizations, and rebuilds as needed, modify customer specifications and design new test methods when required, conduct field visits as necessary, depending on the complexity of the issue or availability of the field service team, and assist with calibration equipment or urgent part needs for the field service team.

Requirements/ Relevant Experience:
• Associate’s degree or vocational apprenticeship with at least 3 years of job-related technical experience.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate instructions over the phone for technical calls/online.
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong computer skills.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, minimal programming experience, machining experience, and/or welding.
• Preferred experience with materials testing software (e.g., testXpert).
• Proficiency in CRM software, such as Microsoft Dynamics, is highly desired to effectively manage customer interactions, track support cases, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 30% of the time.
