The Manager of Quality Control will develop, implement, and periodically evaluate a program to ensure the organization's production operations, from raw materials to finished products, meet the quality, integrity, and efficiency standards set by the organization. Develop a strategic plan and QA program to improve quality. Salary ranges $120,000 - $130,000 depending on experience. Position comes with benefits that start on the 1st of the month after 30 days of hire. Core Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates production operations from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborates with management and senior staff across production departments and roles to draft acceptable quality standards.
  • Develop and implement quality standard testing and evaluation processes.
  • Develop, implement, maintain all facilities QMS, including policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with ASME and NBIC certifications, and other relevant standards for valve production.
  • Facilitates communication among production divisions and management.
  • Monitor production processes to identify defects, non-conformances, and root causes: apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma to drive continuous improvement.
  • Assesses test results and approves recommended changes.
  • Reviews quality control documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports for effectiveness, accuracy, and relevance.
  • Lead Internal and external audits, including supplier audits, to assess compliance with quality standard and regulatory requirements; prepare corrective action plans and follow up on implementation.
  • Periodically reports the status of quality control and operations to executive leadership and, when required, regulatory agencies.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
  • Supervising and providing guidance to all quality control personnel across all divisions and departments.


Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:

The current QC Manager has been promoted to a Site Manager role. He was a former Navy NCO and is excited to find a similar person to replace him. He will be deeply involved with your onboarding and training.

  • Eight to 10 years of related experience desired including experience as an NCO in a technical field
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Six Sigma, Lean, Root cause analysis experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train staff.
  • Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing and production in the industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Nice-to-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • At least five years as a quality engineer or similar role highly preferred (to include experience as a technical NCO)

Physical Requirements:

About the Role

DC Fabricators, Inc. is a leader in the design, technology, and manufacturing of steam condensers and heat exchangers supporting U.S. Navy submarines, aircraft carriers, and other programs. Our Florence, NJ facility specializes in corrosion-resistant alloy and dissimilar metal fabrications.

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on the afternoon shift (Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM). This role is critical to ensuring our manufacturing equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with mechanical and electrical expertise, capable of troubleshooting and maintaining complex machinery with minimal supervision.

What You'll Do

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and CNC systems using technical manuals, schematics, and guides
  • Read part manuals, assembly instructions, and technical documents accurately
  • Operate basic and specialized hand tools and test equipment
  • Work independently to identify and resolve equipment issues with a sense of urgency
  • Support CNC machine operation and general machine shop maintenance

Must-Have Skills and Experience
