Key Responsibilities Include:

• Inspect, install, maintain, and repair analytical instruments at customer locations
  • ~70% planned/predictive maintenance (rollers, belts, basic electronics, etc.)
  • ~30% equipment installations and emergency repairs
• Train customers on software applications and proper equipment operation and maintenance
• Provide phone-based technical support and recommendations
• Complete, document, and close customer service work orders accurately
• Partner with sales and account representatives to support customer growth and service opportunities

• Strong electronics troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with some mechanical aptitude

• Location: Remote – Candidates must reside east of the Rocky Mountains and within 1 hour of a major airport.
• Excludes residents of TX, OK, LA, MS, and AL.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday travel, home most weekends
• Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 base + estimated 500 hours of overtime annually
• Travel: Up to 80% (Monday–Friday travel), with occasional weekend work for key projects

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a related field, preferably with hands-on experience in testing, installation, and maintenance of DC power systems and large stationary batteries used in Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS), ranging from 24VDC to 600VDC.
• Prior military experience as an Electronics Technician (ET) or Fire Controlman (FC) is highly valued, particularly with a strong background in Radar and UPS systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, troubleshooting procedures, and safety protocols related to high-voltage DC systems.

This position/program is a developmental project engineering role where you will need to thrive in ambiguity and use your leadership and relationship building skills to influence large multi-functional teams to solve technical, production, and logistics problems in the power generation industry. This role will report to the director of operations for Field Service North America and take supporting and lead roles in multiple concurrent service and strategic business projects and require little to no direct supervision; while learning the larger business and operation!

Specific functions will include:

• Coordinating large service and modification projects for power plants around the world.
• Leading multi-functional field and office teams through influence to complete short- and long-term improvement and business operations projects.
• Actively serve on power plant service outage projects as a field engineer.
• Create and execute business plans and presentations to senior internal and customer executives.

Responsible for calibration, repair, modification, setup, and functional operation of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), Measurement and Test Equipment (MTE), and peripherals. Includes reading and interpreting electronics/electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications which have been established by equipment manufacturers, engineers, or higher-grade technicians.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Familiarity with measurement and test equipment i.e; oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, frequency counters, volt/ohmmeters etc.
• Good communication skills with ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Knowledge of safe and proper working techniques.
• Associate of Science degree with an emphasis in electronics, or a combination of education and equivalent experience, or military experience with Electronic and Electrical capital equipment.

• Inspect building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.
• Perform contracted work which includes landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVAC, plumbers, and cleaning.
• Review assigned work orders. We estimate time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders' materials and supplies to finish the tasks.
• Maintains an energy management program to ensure measures are taken to operate all systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating costs at a minimum and maintains the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of four years of related experience and/or trade school training!

• Universal CFC certification preferred. In this role, you will perform installation and service work in a safe, efficient, and profitable manner while accurately tracking productive labor time versus travel time. You will complete preventive maintenance in accordance with customer-specific service programs and maintain detailed documentation of all work performed, including parts usage and service records. This position requires Stanley equipment updates and ANSI A156.10 standards, as well as keeping technical manuals and documentation up to date. You will be responsible for maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment in proper working conditions, managing service vehicle parts inventory, and ensuring all equipment is tested and safety-checked before leaving job sites. A professional appearance and high-quality workmanship are always expected, along with delivering excellent customer service and maintaining positive customer relationships. You may also assist with training and mentoring other technicians on installation and service methods.

Description

The MEP Project Manager is responsible for managing, field inspections, problem solving, and coordinating all necessary Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection project resources and documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle. This includes the selection and management of MEP subcontractors, and the review, management, and administration of mechanical bid tabs/Exhibit Bs, MEP submittals, monthly MEP requisitions and change orders, and MEP contractor schedule/performance.
