  • Run preliminary compliance screening by jurisdiction and by customer. Document early risks and recommend go or no-go paths.
  • Lead hazard classification and risk assessment, including GHS and SDS review with exposure and environmental analysis.
  • Monitor regulatory and formulation changes. Trigger SDS, label, and registration updates. Coordinate customer notices.
  • Coordinate the submission of TSCA, REACH, EPA, FDA, and related filings. Track approvals to closure.
  • Revamp and maintain the Product Compliance Dossier for each SKU, including SDS, labels, declarations, certificates, and exposure scenarios.
  • Maintain a single source of truth compliance database and keep dossiers current and easy to find.
  • Lead alignment with Commercial, EHSS, R&D, Regulatory, Legal, Sales, and Supply Chain. Publish the plan, timeline, and RACI.
  • Remove process delays, including SDS-to-label lag, by setting practical SLAs and managing third parties in collaboration with EHSS, legal, and QA.
  • Serve as the release gate. Verify compliance sign-offs, update product master data, and notify stakeholders of release status and compliance outcomes.
  • Plan and host internal and customer compliance audits. Track actions and fold lessons into SOPs and training.
  • Uphold all MLI policies and "MLI Code of Conduct."
  • Strict compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations.
  • Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration is required. It is the employee's commitment to ensure that the Company's actual practices and procedures are exercised as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support and sustain a high performing team.
  • Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • Bachelor's or higher in chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years in manufacturing and compliance or regulatory affairs, ideally in high-purity or specialty chemicals.
  • Working knowledge of TSCA, REACH, GHS, and product stewardship practices.
  • Experience leading cross functional projects and managing external customer relationships.
  • Strong documentation, data management, and clear writing skills.
  • Nice-to-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • Master's in chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental science, or a related field preferred.
