As a CSE, you will travel regularly throughout assigned region to customer accounts; your region is centered around Grand Rapids and stretches approximately 2 hours in all directions. Position Description:

As the Service Technician, you will be in a field-based, customer-facing role that installs, services, maintains and modifies company equipment at customer sites. The selected candidate will work at sites with minimal supervision and will perform on-site customer repairs and be responsible for delivering both timely and effective repairs. It will be your responsibility to provide on-site training after installs to help ensure the systems optimal performance resulting in superior customer satisfaction. The Customer Service Engineer will help with managing financial performance within their territory: meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control and inventory management. The Customer Service Engineer interfaces directly with the Customer Care Manager, Technical Manager, Clinical Application Specialist, Product Managers, Company Sales Representatives, and customers. These interfaces are required to provide superior product service responsiveness and customer satisfaction. The Service Engineer integrates the technical capabilities and available resources, with effective territory and business management skills to develop and maintain superior service levels. You will need to make decisions on best plan of action to keep the customer's equipment downtime to a minimum. Specific responsibilities include:

• Possess total familiarity with mechanical, electronic, optical, and operational aspects of designated products as evidenced by the ability to effectively install and repair/service designated instruments.
• Provide customer troubleshooting assistance as required.
• Provide product service for clinical field trial installations.
• Perform warranty and maintenance work necessary to keep customer level of service and satisfaction high.
• Recommend service manual revisions.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, & Education:

• Experienced X-Ray service technicians (medical, inspection, or industrial X-Ray equipment).
• Must have top-notch electronic systems knowledge and troubleshooting/repair skills in addition to unparalleled customer service skills (relationship development, conflict management, active listening and problem solving, interpersonal communication, etc.).
• Must be able to interpret electronic system schematics and flow-charts.
• A highly tuned mechanical aptitude and the ability to visualize and explain situations and resolutions are also critical in this role.
• Excellent customer service, communication (oral & written), documentation, and PC skills are essential to this position's success.

Based in York, PA, PCC began over 100 years ago as a manufacturer of energy related equipment for government and commercial customers. Today, PCC is a major domestic supplier to the Commercial Nuclear Industry, Departments of Energy and Defense, as well as NASA, Naval Shipyards, and other industrial and government customers.

We are seeking placement for a LEAD NDE LEVEL III.

The Lead NDE Level III is responsible for the planning, technical direction, and implementation of a Non-Destructive Examination program compliant with T9074-AS-GIB-010/271, ASME B&PV Code and NAVSEA 250-1500-1. The individual will be responsible for maintaining PCC's SNT-TC-1A certification program and will perform training/certification of Level I/Level II personnel. This position is also responsible for maintaining an isotope radiography safety program per 10CFR34.

This position will:

• Implement and maintain SNT-TC-1A qualification program for Level I/Level II personnel.
• Prepare NDE procedures.
• Perform all required duties of a Radiation Safety Officer per 10CFR34.
• Provide formal training to Level I/Level II personnel.
• Determine feasibility of alternative NDE requirements.
• Provide technical support to Level I/Level II personnel, as applicable, including the recommendations for new equipment which would improve NDE processes.
• Provide technical support to engineering. Improve communications and understanding of NDE principles and capabilities.
• Provide input to manufacturing, engineering, and other personnel relative to technical requirements of procedures.
• Maintain close communication with operational departments.
• Provide technical support and assistance during the evaluation and the formulation of custom proposals.
• Assure contract specifications are met while meeting budgetary and schedule guidelines.
• Provide training within the Quality Methods group.
• Resolve NDE disputes with customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education: Associate degree in Metrology/NDE or Degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience in Non-Destructive Examination. Completion of an apprenticeship program is desirable.

Experience:

• Minimum eight years of Non-Destructive Examination, experience as an SNT-TC-1A level III in MT, PT, VT, and RT disciplines. SNT-TC-1A level III status in UT and LT disciplines is desirable.
• NSTR-99 certification in PT and RT will be expected within 6 months after hire date.
• Must meet 10CFR34 requirements for a Radiation Safety Officer.
• Current IRRSP card holder with 2,000 hours of isotope experience is required.

Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills required. Must have a working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Other Skills & Abilities:

• Must have thorough knowledge of NDE principles and their application to industrial inspection problems.
• Must have a strong background in ASME Code, TP-271, and NAVSEA 250-1500-1
• Membership in appropriate technical or professional societies is expected.

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate professionalism, leadership and initiative in your daily activities, with excellent inter-personal and communication skills both oral and written.

This is a 2nd shift opportunity, daily hours will be from 2:30pm to 12:00am and overtime is available and encouraged.

Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and inspect electronic components during product assembly, per documented work instructions.
• Interpreting Job Routers, written instructions, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics.
• Performing a variety of inspections to ensure assemblies meet/exceed IPC standards.
• Performing pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts. Using hand and/or power tools and jigs.

Must Have:

• Must have meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Typically 3-5+ years of electronics assembly and inspection experience with in-process soldering (both through hole and surface mount).
• Must be able to work for extended hours utilizing a microscope to perform inspection and solder touch-ups.
• Hand soldering experience is required. Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Good to Have:

• Rework/repair, wire attach, and mechanical assembly.
• Must be detail oriented and able to multitask. IPC-610, J-STD-001 and 7711/7721 certification preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• 10 plus years related experience is preferred.
