Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Remote – Live near major East Coast and Midwest metro airports.
Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM typically Monday-Friday
Compensation: $28.00 - $35.00 + $4/hr when traveling, $780/yr phone, $100/yr luggage, per diem $75

Position Description: As a Field Service Technician at the company, you will perform the installation, integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a complete range of world-class case packers, vertical robotic products, and palletizers. In this role, you will demonstrate excellent technical, customer service, and communication skills on the job. Meet company’s quality standards while maintaining a working knowledge of relevant technologies and best practices. Provide service maintenance, troubleshooting, and training following established company procedures. As a Field Service Technician at the company, you will serve as the liaison between the customer and the company. Ensure the customer receives the final, up-to-date machine documentation. Manage the assigned project ensuring schedules and objectives are met. Ensure customer satisfaction by obtaining written site acceptance on work performed. Demonstrate profound knowledge of the theory of operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all equipment, operator interfaces, applied technologies, and sub-components in the manufacture of company’s equipment.
Requirements: The ideal candidates for the Field Service Engineer role should have 3+ years of experience in a field service capacity or as a plant maintenance technician. Strong electrical, mechanical, and programming background. Should know how to navigate PLC systems preferably Allen-Bradley. This includes robotics and PLC ladder logic. FANUC robotics experience preferred. Should live within 1 hour of a major airport. The company places a strong emphasis on candidates who have a personality customer focused and can seamlessly integrate into the role and contribute immediately. Should be able to troubleshoot 480v, and 24v circuits. Preparedness to discuss hands-on knowledge with specific examples is crucial, and the employer highly regards individuals with experience in the military. You must be willing to travel this is a high travel position, at customer sites Monday-Friday, and home on weekends.

Position Descriptions: Field Service Technician
As a Field Service Technician with the company, you will be responsible for leading the start-up, commissioning, emergency service and regularly scheduled preventative maintenance service of equipment at customer locations. This is a very key front-line service role at the company, as you will be interacting with and directly serving customer equipment needs. You will travel to customer locations and provide the best customer equipment troubleshooting, repair, and training in operation and maintenance in the business. Every day you will communicate and coordinate information between the company and their customers to correct equipment difficulties using superb problem-solving skills.
You will provide the routine upkeep and regularly scheduled preventative maintenance and correct any equipment difficulties using superb problem-solving skills as needed to ensure company equipment continually stays fully operational. When you are not traveling to customer locations, your responsibilities will include quality control of equipment prior to shipment and technical phone support for customers (from the company’s HQ in Louisville). Proficiency on company systems and performance will lead to increased responsibilities for Field Service Technician promotions after your Technician Development Program and throughout your career at the company.

Requirements: Candidates must be excellent technicians with a strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical aptitude with the ability to work on and troubleshoot maintenance equipment. Candidates will be self-starters and will be comfortable working with people while troubleshooting / problem-solving or while training customers how to use equipment. Excellent communication and customer service skills are of utmost importance. You must be able to read mechanical blueprints and electrical
schematics. While not required, it is preferred you have some experience with PLC logic development and troubleshooting; company offers a PLC training program if you are not well-versed here.

• Position Description:
