Bad Hiring Decisions - Why are they made, and what can be done? [WATCH THE PANEL DISCUSSION]

Thursday, February 14, 2019
High turnover rate has been a growing issue among businesses, and recently became the topic of discussion on the webinar: Why are bad hiring decisions made, and what can be done?

Orion Novotus President, Cory Kruse, partnered with Recruitment Process Outsourcing Association (RPOA) and a panel of TA leaders to discuss what can be done to reduce employee turnover and avoid bad hiring decisions.

Here is what you’ll learn:

- Attraction & Assessment: Employment branding is important to paint a picture of the culture to attract the right hires. Proper screening and assessing of candidates is needed to prove they can complete the day-in and day-out tasks that the role requires.

- Alignment & Experience: “There is no substitute for a stellar candidate experience,” says Kruse. “Alignment between hiring manager and candidate all the way through the hiring process is the most important thing for the talent acquisition team to get right.”

- Quality & Onboarding: In order to measure the quality of your hiring process, you need to measure and track metrics. This will identify roadblocks in the system. Additionally, evaluating your onboarding process is equally important as identifying the candidates.

Watch the panel discussion to learn more about hiring best practices from seasoned talent acquisition experts.
