Position Description: The Field Service Technician for Company's Compression Systems and Services Division serves customers by installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all makes of rotary screw and reciprocating and/or Centac and ECC air compressors, along with additional compressed air system components. You will use precision measuring tools for diagnostic trouble shooting of compressed air equipment. In addition, you need to have knowledge of all operations and parts manuals associated with all equipment. Some other specific responsibilities include:
• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers.
• Provide technical assistance on equipment pre-commissioning and start-ups, installations, and repairs of compressed air systems, including “hands-on” work to assure equipment operates to customer’s requirement with limited guidance from the Master Technician.
• Conduct safety assessments of a continuously changing working environment.
• Document service and installation activities by completing work orders for each job, maintenance checklist and daily time sheets.
• Increase customers’ awareness of how Company products, services and solutions, such as Preventative Maintenance, Diagnostics, Audits and Leak Detection can benefit their operations.
• Maintain rapport with customers by addressing complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, and recommending system improvements.
• Explain practices, procedures and policies to reach agreement with suppliers and others outside of the job area.
• Ensure proper operation of compressed air equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements and 47-point inspections on a wide variety of compressors, refrigerated dryers, desiccant dryers and additional compressed air components.

You will receive significant OEM training, including being paired with a Master Technician for job shadowing/OJT for the first 90 days and quarterly IR-branded classroom and on-line training. In order to be successful in this role, you should have a working knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment and systems, ideally rotary and centrifugal air compressors, pumps, dryers, cooling towers, filtration systems, HVAC, AC/DC circuits, motors/controls, etc. You must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years. You should also have good computer skills (MS Office, basic networking, etc.).

Position Description:
A Field Service Technician will support customers with (but not limited to) company Lasers and Press Brakes, install, service, facilitate operational training, network, programming training, software training, application training, and laser automation training. The duties are not exclusive of performing the same functions for Punch Press and combination machines, including automated material loading/unloading machines. Position Description: The Test Supervisor directs, coordinates, and prioritizes production test activities for products, including test strategy and procedures, test equipment and the leadership test technicians. In this role you will mentor and develop the skills of the production test department to effectively and efficiently test and debug high voltage, high-power, top-level assemblies along with associated sub-assemblies and components, providing training as needed. It will be important to use your experience in testing and troubleshooting both analog and digital circuits. Company’s products range from 2KVA to 200KVA AC and DC power and frequency converters as well as a limited amount of small RF systems. Position Description: The Electronics Test Technician performs production testing of high voltage, high power switching power supplies and associated subassemblies. Key responsibilities include:

• Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and diesel engines.
• Familiarity with fire pump drivers, fuel/cooling, and similar/related transmissions/engine systems.

Calibrate equipment to relevant standards and procedures.
Use and train all current test methods. Evaluate the result of the reasonableness test.
Customer training of operation and software of ZwickRoell machines.
Project management, Provide leadership on relocation jobs and large Installation.
Prepare written reports of calibration results according to ISO/IEC 17025
Support customers and other personnel with technical advice when required.
Troubleshoot electronic & electromechanical devices from schematics and mechanical drawings.

Requirements/ Relevant Experience:

Skilled technicians with formal technical training and 4+ years of technical experience.
Military backgrounds in electronics, electrical maintenance, and/or mechanical component repair are all great skill sets and backgrounds that translate successfully to these roles.
Technical metrology or prior calibration experience is preferred. Experience with universal destructive testing machines and extensometers is also preferred but not required.
Preferred bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline
