All work will be done in a class 1 clean room environment. Both system types are typically assembled and tested to a specific customer order requiring verification of compliance to system specifications, accuracy of configuration, and timeliness of completion. This job includes trouble shooting and correcting of mechanical and electrical problems and requires skill in these areas. The individual collaborates with Manufacturing Engineering (ME) and Software Engineering (SW) to improve product quality and processes. The individual aids in determining root cause and implementing corrective actions related to In-Box-Quality (IBQ)/Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR). Position Description:
You will be responsible for the latest Electron Beam Microscope (E-Beam). These “tools” are used by a host of semi-conductor companies (Lam, as a Wafer Inspection tool. This tool is used to examine the wafer for defects throughout various stages of manufacturing. You will be trained and become an expert on initially one product “tool”, to be followed up with others. These tools detect flaws in the wafer manufacturing process. Goal is to keep tools up and running so that Intel can keep production up. In this position, you will use your electronics, mechanical, lasers, vacuum, computer, and diagnostic expertise to perform set-up, calibration, failure diagnoses, and trouble shooting. You will become an “expert” on your tool and be available to service the tools at any time.


Requirements:
• Must have good computer skills, and competent in common office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical blueprints and schematics.
• The ability and flexibility to travel to and work in other sites in other cities when required.
• Must be able to work compressed workweeks and overtime when required.
• Must be able to work in a clean-room, fully suited in clean-room garments and self-contained breathing apparatus.
• Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task multiple work assignments. Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate proactively and interact with internal/external contacts at any level. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle private and confidential information in accordance with company’s interest and policies, legal requirements, and business ethics.



Experience Requirements:
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuitry
• Experience using digital volt meters, oscilloscopes, hand tools, and computers
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Basic Knowledge and understanding of physics and chemistry
• Must have and retain valid driver’s license in resident State. Must be insurable by our insurance company
• Must be eligible for and receive company credit card
• Willingness to relocate and/or travel


Salary and Benefits: Starting base wage is $80K-$85K depending on experience and qualifications. OT is also permitted as is needed to support goals. Vehicle allowance also provided.
