LATHE MACHINIST

• Operate engine and large lathes to machine a wide range of components, including castings, forgings, plates, bars, and custom parts. 
• Perform precision operations on large parts to meet specified dimensions and tolerances. 
• Program and edit lathe operations using Mazatrol controls to optimize efficiency and accuracy. 
• Inspect machined components using various precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators) to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• 3–5 years of hands-on machining experience or equivalent technical training.

• Engineering knowledge and experience
• 5 years of applicable work experience, such as Navy Nuclear, Corps of Engineers, etc.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE commissioning industry standards, desired. Commissioning certification, such as from the Building Commissioning Associates, or similar is preferred but not required. Successful candidate must be prepared to take the exam (if not current at the time interview) within 1 year of start date.

• Install, repair, and maintain America Probing Systems and related peripherals.
• Perform the installation of electrical, mechanical and communication interfaces between probers, manipulators, testers and network systems.
• Perform PM on Probing Systems.
• Perform basic prober repairs and communicate with the customer regarding status of installs/PM and repairs.
• Communicate with customers regarding the current and future applications requirements and coordinate this information with the application engineering department.
• Understand and communicate information relating to customer device trends and test strategies.
• Complete detailed Field Service Reports (FSRs) and submit to management in a timely manner.
• Document issues that cannot be resolved immediately at the customer site by using appropriate formal(i.e., New Enhancement Requests (NERs), Bug Reports).
• Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to initiate projects, coordinate resources, document and communicate status and goals, and direct a project to completion.
• Ability to develop and maintain project tracking tools (Gantt charts, Issue tracking, etc.) for multiple project and customers simultaneously.
• Learn how customer uses system in device development and manufacturing test to identify future enhancement opportunities.
• Support Sales and Marketing teams by providing technical expertise, coordinating and performing product demos, and being present at trade shows for customer engagement purposes.
• Ability to develop clear, concise technical documents for new products, procedures, and discoveries to help guide other engineers and customers.
• Travel as required to perform these duties and to obtain training.

The Object First Channel Sales Engineer is a technical field position that serves as the resource for the Technical Partner Community. As Channel SE, it is expected that you will be able to enable partners to perform all the functions that an Object First Sales Engineer does including running Proof of Concepts. In this role you will report directly to the Director, Pre-Sales Engineering Americas.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Wage Range: $27-$32/hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-focused CNC Machinist – Second Shift Lead to oversee and optimize operations in our CNC machining area. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a steady-paced environment, takes pride in precision work, and can lead a small team to maintain top quality and efficiency in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing setting.

WorkCentre Optimization

• Lead setup, organization, and productivity of CNC machines with support from operators.
• Oversee machining processes to ensure efficient operations and on-time delivery.
• Inspect parts to verify they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or machinist certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of machining experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in CNC and manual machining, including programming processes.
• CAD/CAM experience required; Mastercam preferred.
• Ability to set up and validate production on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and lathes with Siemens, Fanuc, and Haas controls.
