Description
The Director of Facilities oversees all aspects of the resort’s maintenance operations, capital projects, and physical infrastructure. This role is responsible for managing the property’s assets to ensure all buildings, systems, and grounds remain safe, functional, and well-maintained for both guests and staff.
As a key member of the leadership team, the Director ensures the resort meets or exceeds operational, safety, and aesthetic standards, supporting a best-in-class guest experience aligned with Forbes quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the maintenance department, overseeing all property systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Manage and execute capital improvement projects from planning through completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety, building, and environmental regulations.
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets, schedules, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee vendor relationships and service contracts related to property upkeep.
• Maintain consistent communication with senior leadership on facility performance and needs.
