Description

Orion Talent, the nation’s largest military recruiting firm, is currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals for a Service Advisor (Electrical) position with a company that provides a wide selection of residential, commercial, and industrial garage doors and grills made from a variety of materials, finish, and performance insulation options.

Position Details:
Location: Goodyear, AZ (west suburb of Phoenix)
Compensation: $26/hr
• Bonuses/Additional Compensation: salary increases every six months (typically around $1/hr - $1.50/hr) for first three years; annual incentive bonus (~7% - 10%)
Schedule: You generally will work standard day-shift hours Mon-Fri, though plenty of optional overtime is available

Position Description
As a Service Advisor, you will be responding to customer requests regarding parts, sales, warranty issues, and technical support on all products provided by CornellCookson. You will focus on service efforts by quickly responding to incoming requests via phone, email, text and others, providing extraordinary customer service. Some specific responsibilities include:
• Provide superlative technical service and support to customers.
• Improve customer relationships and customer satisfaction.
• Process parts orders and provide parts pricing for repair orders for all products.
• Place orders and generate job sheets to be sent to the shop to manufacture product to fill order requests.
• Troubleshoot installation issues over the phone and take proper measures to resolve them.
• Handle product-related issues, troubleshooting, warranty replacement components, and provide extraordinary customer satisfaction.
• Assist in other areas as necessary and work cooperatively with others to help achieve departmental and organizational goals.

Position Requirements
• Must have an outgoing, customer-service personality.
• Will be interacting with customers regularly so patience, good communication, and problem-solving skills and technical savvy are critical for success.
• Strong electronic / electrical troubleshooting skills (up to 460V), and a strong grasp of schematics, blueprints and other technical documents.
• Good understanding of basic electrical theory or a background with electrical motor install/repairs.
