• Title: Mechanical Engineer
• Location: Chicopee, MA
• Shift: Normal working hours, M-F, 1 Day Remote, 4 days onsite
• Compensation: $75 - $90K

• Travel: 20% of average workweek, including air travel, overnight hotel stays, and as required.
Position Description: Responsibilities include:
As a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for design, documentation, and/or programming of
building automation systems (BASs) in compliance with project plans and specifications. Proactive
communication with project team both internal and external including requests for information (RFIs)
and technical risks and opportunities.
• Design of complete building automation systems, including the specification and sizing of
controllers, electromechanical devices, sensors, networks, and computer hardware.
• Site-specific configuration of the WebCTRL system (using SiteBuilder).
• Programming of control algorithms including those that include third-party integration (Eikon).
• Development of graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems.
• Final documentation of the building automation system that incorporates all changes made
since issuance of the submittal.
• Adherence to project requirements and company and customer standards.
• Technical support during the selling process to ensure that sales representatives accurately
address customer requirements and propose the best possible solutions.
• Identification and communication of project opportunities and risks.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or construction discipline and 5+ years’ experience in the HVAC controls industry. OR a High School diploma or GED with 8+ years of HVAC controls experience.
Able to write sequences of operations for common HVAC systems and control methodologies.
