Position Details:
• Title: Maintenance Supervisor
• Location: Marshalltown, IA (30 mins SE of Des Moines)
• Shift: 2nd & 3rd shift, 2 openings on each shift
• Compensation: Base salary $80-$85K plus quarterly bonus = W-2 $90-$100K+

Position Description: Maintenance Supervisor
As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible Prioritize work orders and schedule mechanics according to immediacy and necessity of orders. Monitor all production areas to ensure proper functioning of equipment and machinery. Perform skilled maintenance activities including construction, welding, brazing, soldering, plumbing and hydraulics. Adjust, repair, and replace electrical and electronic equipment. Participate in HAZMAT team to ensure preparedness for emergency situations. Promote and encourage safety in all aspects of maintenance. Arrange for completion of required paperwork, such as payroll. Attend meetings as scheduled.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with prior maintenance leadership experience. Background should be strong in electronics with a good understanding of mechanical/electrical principles. A degree is not required for this position but the ability to lead in a diverse environment is extremely important. You need to be able to communicate effectively, both written and orally, to subordinates, superiors. Attention to detail and safety are extremely important for this position as well. This is a Union environment, this position is non-union, but you need to be aware of operating in a union facility.
