Description

Position Details:
• Location: Pueblo, CO
• Schedule: You will work a rotating 12-hr, 2-2-3 schedule (2-days on, 2-days off, 3-days on, 2-days off, 2-days on, 3-days off). This schedule allows for 7 days off every two weeks (including a 3-day weekend every other week) and built-in overtime. You will work two weeks on days then rotate to two weeks of nights (rotation day is on Monday after your long weekend off).
• Compensation: These are Union roles, so pay rates are set based on your experience and assessments. Base hourly rates are $30.35/hr - $35.71/hr + shift premium for night shift.
o Bonuses/Additional Compensation: Overtime is paid at 1.5X after 40 hours. Pay increases every six months, with ability to assess into next Level every six months as well; there is also a profit-sharing plan (based on company performance) that pays out quarterly

Position Description: Mill Electrical Technician
In this role you will provide all necessary electrical, electronic and combustion-instrumentation maintenance to all areas of the Mill in a safe and efficient manner. In order to be successful in this role, you should have experience with the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of electrical, electronic and/or instrumentation equipment and systems. This position reports to the Superintendent of Maintenance. Some specific responsibilities include:
• Serve the function(s) of a Combustion-Instrumentation Technician, Electronic Repairman and/or Electrical Inspector (Maintenance Electrician) depending upon training and certification.
• Complete the RMSM training program to become skilled in all three of the crafts mentioned above.
• Troubleshoot, repair, dismantle, assemble and install a variety of equipment throughout the mill.
• Work with Electric Shop, Combustion Lab and Electronic Shop equipment and tools, mobile equipment of every kind, controls, switches, valves, ovens, furnaces, machinery, cranes, prints and drawings.
• Observe lockout procedures.
• Operate overhead cranes as needed.
• Work in both inside and outside environmental conditions, while exposed to elevated noise levels, vibrations, extreme cold and heat; conditions which require use of a respirator or dust mask; in close proximity to moving parts, electrical currents; working on scaffolding and high places; exposure to natural gas, high heat, hot surfaces, molten metal, chemicals, oils and lubricants.
