- Measure key part characteristics with CMM equipment
- Perform CMM programming, setup, and analysis of both in process and finished products
- Work with engineering and programming teams to troubleshoot parts
- Perform first piece production inspection and provide feedback
- Document findings and develop planning for jobs
- Train others on CMM operation and appropriate methods
- Check and verify machined component dimensions using measuring devices to blueprints
- Communicate effectively with machinist, operators, and management to maintain acceptable quality standards
- Maintain and generate all required quality documentation including inspection and discrepancy reports
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned or requested
- ITAR REQUIREMENTS: This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person citizenship status.

- 2 year technical degree and/or 2 years shop floor machining
- 2 years shop Floor machining and/or 6 months Quality Inspection in machine shop environment
- Able to operate a CMM, including choosing appropriate tools and inspecting parts with minimal supervision
- Preferred experience with PC DMIS CMM software
- Knowledge of GD&T and general blueprint interpretation
- The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes, and other mandatory safety equipment.
- For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.
- Sit or stand as needed.
- Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
- Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist, or lifting as required to reach documents or store materials throughout the workday.
- Proper lifting techniques required.
- Ability and comfortability to work in small confine spaces while following proper safety protocol.
- Ability to accomplish the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
