Today, they are the Pacific Northwest’s leading mechanical manufacturers' representative. The ownership team has accumulated over 100 years of experience servicing a diverse range of customers with commercial, residential and industrial applications. The company represents a broad range of the leading manufacturers of boilers, burners, pumps, controls, steam process accessories, and related mechanical room equipment. The position requires a person to quote and manage projects for HVAC applications including boilers, chillers, heat pumps, and custom air handlers. This role includes minimal cold calling, but you will be expected to aggressively serve the customer base and expand those relationships. The ideal candidate is a self-starting, go-getter that thrives having autonomy and operating off of “Commander’s Intent.” In this role, you will also:
? Assist consulting engineers with system design, product selection and specification writing
? Provide technical expertise/assistance on product applications
? Call on consulting engineers and facility owners
? Call on contractors to promote represented HVAC products and maintain relationships
? Manage multiple projects from the design phase to commissioning
? Responsible for maintaining and developing an expert level of product knowledge

? Establish and maintain strong relationships with owners, engineers and contractors
Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in a science or technical field is preferred. Technical experience from the military with a “soft” degree is acceptable, but you will need to highlight exposure to technical systems in the interview process. Our client is looking to bring in the future professionals that will lead the company for years to come. Strong leadership and relationship building skills are essential for this role, and future roles within the organization. The company is looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, competitive drive, versatility, technical aptitude, autonomy, “coachability,” and strong loyalty. You must have excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation and Benefits: Base salary + commissions (First year compensation will approach six figures, but the sky is the limit from there). All expenses associated when you are on the job. In addition, they offer a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k), a great training pipeline, top of the line equipment, opportunities for professional growth, paid holidays and vacation and additional perks!
Keys to a successful interview: Our client is looking for a responsible individual who can work well with customers, resolve service issues, deal with adversity and has a strong technical background. If you do not have industry experience, you must be able to demonstrate an understanding of technical principles. You must show that you have researched the corporation and understand the basics of what they do and the customers that they serve.
