Position Details:
Title: Recruitment and HR Specialist
Location: Houston, TX
The position is Hybrid (On-site 2-3 days per month)
Shift: Monday – Friday | General Office Hours
Compensation: $75K - $85K annually (based on experience) + potential 15% annual bonus
Benefits: Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life and Disability Insurance as well as generous PTO.
2 weeks of vacation/year, 40 hours of sick time, 2 floating holidays, and 8 paid holidays/year.
Travel: 15% travel across USA as required to the other 9 company locations.

Position Description: Recruitment and HR Specialist
As part of the human resources department, the Recruitment and HR Specialist, is involved in several aspects related to hiring, training, and human resources support. Duties include working with the various leaders in analyzing the requirements of an available job, attracting suitable candidates to the position, carefully screening, and selecting all applicants, hiring, and seamlessly integrating new employees and roles into the organization.

Responsibilities Include:
• Develop and execute national staffing plan to ensure both internal and external pipeline of candidates to meet the business requirements.
• Source candidates through multiple channels, including social media, online databases, networking, email, job boards, referrals and cold calling.
• Serve as a liaison with local employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations.
• Attend various career fair events.
• Effectively manage the overall hiring process from end to end, posting, sourcing, reviewing resumes, interviewing, selection, and closing process including offer letters and acceptance.
• Create excel reports and monitors key HR metrics related to recruitment.
• Manage the onboarding and offboarding process and conducts orientation.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in talent management and employment law

The successful candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (or a related field) as well as a minimum of three years experience in full cycle recruiting. You should also have a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations across various states and have a superior skill set in sourcing candidates at a national level. Lastly, you should be able to speak to your previous success creating and managing various recruitment tracking spreadsheets in Excel and possess strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
