Position Details:
• Title: General Manager
• Location: Lee’s Summit, MO
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours
• Compensation: $150K to $165 + bonus

• Travel: 10%

Position Description: Responsibilities include:
The General Manager is a self-motivated and entrepreneurial leader responsible for day-to-day operations and leadership of ALS. Success in this role will be defined by a cohesive team achieving predictable business results and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Oversee daily business/service & construction operations IOT optimize workflow/labor efficiency.
• Develop and execute sales growth strategies to gain new and expand existing client relationships.
• Develop and manage financial budgets to achieve growth and accurately forecast performance.
• Prepare and review estimating and pricing activity to ensure best value solutions at highest attainable margins.
• Team development resulting in a written career path and succession plan for each person.
• Customer development and customer satisfaction for repeat and recurring revenues.

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the electrical Industry w/ both service and construction oversight.
• Electrical background and project management experience preferred.
• 3 or more years of P&L responsibility, 5 or more years of management of 4 or more direct reports.
• Demonstrated success in establishing and growing a business.
• Contractor’s license preferred and experience with union shops.
• Above average skills with Microsoft applications, trade ERP experience preferred, but not required.
