Title: Pump Service Technician
Location: San Diego, CA
Shift: Mon-Friday, 7a-2:30p, OT is available, and some jobs may require you to stay on site until completion.
Compensation: $25-$35/hr depending on qualifications and experience!

Position Description:

• Troubleshoot and repair all types of centrifugal pumps-domestic water, HVAC pumps (tower cooling & chilled water), submersible, column, and sump/sewage.
• Under general supervision, inspects, modifies, maintains, repairs, and installs pumps, electric motors, valves, and related mechanical equipment for water and wastewater systems throughout Southern California.
• Troubleshoot and repair pressure-reducing valves associated with domestic water booster systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair sewage ejector pumps, pump controls, and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair common electrical issues such as three-phase and single-phase electrical systems, including capacitors and start relays.
• Responds to emergencies as necessary during normal working hours and when scheduled to be on call for 24-hour emergency service.
• Planned Maintenance - Performs Planned Maintenance as required. Inspects pump systems and related equipment and makes recommendations for repairs, replacements, or calibrations as needed.
• Follows all electrical safety rules and Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
• Maintains service truck tools, safety equipment, instruments, and materials, specific to pump, motor, and equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Operates a variety of equipment and hand and power tools as needed to construct, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment. Maintains and cares for all equipment and tools in his/her care and use. Performs cleaning and lubricating of tools as required.
• Professionally performs duties and works well with others or in a team setting.

The job of the Production Manager is a focused position to ensure all operations within the manufacturing building have access to the resources and materials needed to complete their work orders on time and as efficiently as possible. The PM will develop and coordinate standard work methods and programs necessary to meet and maintain quality standards as well as produce improvement in labor and material savings. Working in conjunction with the President, the PM will conduct process time and yield studies and provide suggestions required to attain the best possible output. Resources will be provided by the company in labor and tooling to carry out this process, but must be approved by management first. This position is a highly focused position to ensure that the products manufactured in the organization fits the purpose and meets the customer expectations while keeping cost in line and or improving efficiencies to better the service and cost of the products. Position Description: As a Maintenance Technician, you will work with the engineering team to implement new ideas and equipment installations while communicating between other departments and shifts daily. The Maintenance Technician will ensure that maintenance projects are completed meeting code and standard requirements, and you will be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around the facility. • Read and use mechanical prints and troubleshoot mechanical issues on equipment such as conveyors, bearings, belts, and framework using tools such as welders, torches, plasma torches, and other fabricating tools.

• Troubleshoot robots and controllers for multiple types of ABB robots. Review robot code and movements. Preparing backups and making changes in the program. Modify positions and update calibrations. Component repair and/or changing.
• Upload, download, and make changes to multiple vision systems including Cognex, Sherlock, Keyence, ABB and Sick.
• Maintain the systems and able to adjust programs as needed on laser engraving systems such as Keyence and Mecco Lasers.

• Provides the maintenance personnel with weekly work schedules to ensure all techs have 40 hours of planned work for the week and that work is effectively and successfully completed within the 40-hour week. Reviews this schedule with supervisors before the start of the work week and incorporates recommendations into the work schedule before finalizing.
• Coordinates with the Stores manager to ensure parts and supplies required for work orders are identified and ordered in a timely manner, excess inventory is minimized, waste is eliminated and buys are carried out economically. Position Description: Responsibilities include:
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.
• Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment.
• Disassemble or replace defective electrical equipment or worn parts, reassemble equipment.
• Thread conduit ends, connect couplings, and fabricate and secure conduit support brackets.
• Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections.
• Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings, using hand and power tools.
• Dig trenches or holes for installation of conduit or supports.
• Strip insulation from wire ends, using wire stripping pliers, and attach wires to terminals.
• Trace out short circuits in wiring, using test meter.
• Install copper-clad ground rods, using a manual post driver.
• Transport tools, materials, equipment, & supplies to work site by hand, handtruck, or heavy motorized truck.
• Construct controllers and panels, using power drills, drill presses, taps, saws and punches.
• Raise, lower, or position equipment, tools, and materials, using hoist, hand line, or block and tackle.

Requirements:
• 1-2 years of electrical experience/exposure.
• Military experience desired.
• Able to pass Basic Skills Test, Multi-Craft Aptitude Test, Color Identification Test and Drug Screen.
• Must have high mechanical aptitude and be good working with their hands.
• Must be able to troubleshoot effectively.
