Continental Tide is searching for skilled Marine Electricians III for our Fleet Services for our Fleet Services in Norfolk, VA. The successful candidate will join our Fleet Services Group performing various ship repairs, modernization and Alteration Installation Team (AIT) projects.

Essential duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Inspecting, repairing, installing, modifying, and maintaining electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment.
  • Perform on-site field service for system grooms and checkouts, minor repairs and system configuration validation.
  • Setting up, checking, and correcting operational and experimental electrical machinery, circuitry, and equipment while adhering to pre-established guidelines and engineering specifications

Compensation: You can realistically expect your 1st year total compensation to be $108K – $113.6K
Base & Productivity ($43.34 – $45.50/hr, to start): $94,655 – $99,372
Average Overtime (10%): $13,522 – $14,196
An important component of your Total Compensation is a Weekly Productivity/Incentive Bonus Plan that currently averages 140% of your weekly pay (and that percentage is expected to increase significantly over the next year). Raises are excellent and dependent on how hard you want to work on getting maintenance qualifications completed; hard charging technicians can earn up to a 21.5% raise (depending on what you qualify) within the first year or so for meeting qualifications on multiple plant equipment. Position Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities:

Seeking a Principal Software Engineer - VRED Specialist with a passion for software reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis, who willl excel in transforming this analysis into viable, fully-engineered exploits. The role is fully remote, and part of a team located in the US, UK, and Australia.
  • Work in small research teams to reverse engineer and identify vulnerabilities in complex software and firmware targets
  • Conduct vulnerability research (VR) and exploit development on a variety of challenging surfaces ranging from Windows/Linux binaries, mobile operating systems to embedded firmware on non-traditional information systems
  • Create exploit proof of concepts
  • Document, demonstrate, and present research to a technically adept audience

Requirements:

  • BSc, MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent)
  • Experience performing VR using tools such as IDA, Binary Ninja, or Ghidra
  • Experience performing static/dynamic/symbolic program analysis
