Position Description: In this role you will be responsible for the installation, service, troubleshooting and repair of complex electronic and electromechanical equipment. You will be trained to become an independent “product expert” on selected company product lines. You will be responsible for implementing detailed, complex customer installation plans for both reliability and process and qualification. You will also need to train customer personnel on advanced equipment operation, maintenance procedures and process related operations. In order to be successful in this role, you should have experience with and a significant working knowledge of Electronics / Avionics and electrical systems. You should also have a clear ability to work with electronic equipment such as volt meters, amp meters, oscilloscopes, etc; the ability to troubleshoot basic electric and electronic circuitry, including reading and interpreting electrical and electronic diagrams; and a working understanding of AC power circuitry including breakers, multi-phase power, etc (120VAC and greater). • Run processes within a certification laboratory that allows the certification of equipment through testing, evaluation and reporting.

Also look for how the client can improve conformity of design, improve design, and reduce costs of conformity and design during the project. Ultimate result is a happy customer client that request additional work during or at the end of each visit.
• Review the information received and compare that to the test report forms and standards and develop a full report including line item standards requirements, critical components requirements, appropriate size of circuit breakers and wiring, appropriate design of interlock systems, management of risks and hazards, and full development of the critical components listing and proof that the parts are suitable for use.
• Once all this data is reviewed, evaluated and iterated on until conforming;
• Troubleshoot any nonconforming results, troubleshoot, maintain and operate test equipment of various types and complexities. Debrief the customer each morning and evening as to what the project will entail what needs to be done, what resources and staff are needed to support the testing.
• Operate the above program all within the OSHA electrical safety programs, site safety programs, and environmental conditions.
• Support the client in any conformity changes that they might need on site during testing to allow a conforming product, then follow-up that engineering changes are made to the design and documentation such that all possible conformity changes are made, during testing.
• Clearly and accurately report all testing completed, complete test report forms, and work the test reports through the review process and release processes.
• Follow and execute all quality management programs, document control programs and document release programs.

You will be trained to become an independent “product expert” on selected company product lines.
