Virtual Builders Exchange Reports on the Construction Industry Hiring Veterans to Address Skilled Labor Shortages

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates the construction industry will need to add 1.6 million jobs over the next four years. However, some construction employers have been hampered by a shortage of skilled labor. A recent workforce survey from the Associated General Contractors of America showed 69 percent of Texas contractors report having difficulty finding qualified workers.
